Well, there are a few differences. At least the Republican party hasn’t made a pact with Satan to destroy freedom and liberty while killing off as many babies and old folks as possible in the process.
Plus, I’d rather not have to refer to fellow Americans as “comrades” in the future.

I appreciate your points, but the system is set up so a tax strike is impossible, and term limits are not the answer–repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments is the answer. If people understood how our system was originally designed, and why, they would understand how these two amendments have led to this disastrous mess.

But in Porkulus apparently 40% of the earmarks were by Republicans.

And, as someone pointed out don’t forget about Snowe…and Collins…and Specter and their selling out in Porkulus. And then Snowe again when Obamacare was before the Senate Finance Committee.

To their credit, all of the House Republicans did vote “no” against the stimulus bill last January.

So, no, not all of the Republicans can be accused of being Dem lites but as a group they aren’t really getting the word out there as to what they do stand for. For one thing, saying they want to have a hand in the Obamacare monstrosity but can’t isn’t endearing to me. They’ve buckled to the (rather successful) “party of no” propaganda that the Alinskyites came up with.

They shouldn’t be discussing anything other than getting the government’s mitts off of health care and ending Federal restrictions that guarantees health insurance monopolies in states and regions.

Read that again. then read it once more. And read it again. Would you today sign your name to that document?
