The problem with Ventura’s show will be that Ventura is involved in it. Even though what he says in this episode may be absolutely true (I’m not watching it), he is linked forever with crazy conspiracy stuff. So anything he says could be written off with all the 9/11 conspiracy lunacy. He doesn’t do us any favors.

This is the equivalent of using only those people who did well on a drug being tested in a drug trial. The “scientists” doing this kind of fraud would never get their drug approved by the FDA if they found out and would be well advised to get the best lawyer they could find.

But you don’t have to take it at ‘face value’. There was a lot of evidence indicating this was a scam before the Russians got involved. Yeah, this serves their interests…that’s why they are doing this. But this is one of those very, very rare times when Russia is actually doing the right thing and telling the truth.
Again, it’s just one link in a very long chain. They know that…that’s why it’s so effective.

The CRU admitted the e-mails were authentic…they had no choice…the Russians would have been more than happy to leak a few more details if they said otherwise. Russia has the CRU frauds by the balls and they know it. They were infiltrated, no doubt, thinking Russia was their friend. This is so funny, I’m splitting a gut. The western lefties were betrayed by the original commies over economic self-interests.

The Russian revelation fits in with other facts. For years there has been a divergence between the surface temperature data, which has been rising, and the satellite temperature data, which has been almost flat. Some minor problems were found with the satellite data and corrected, but the divergence was barely affected. The global warming community has been ignoring the difference and hand-waving away the satellite readings because it didn’t fit with their theory. If enough of them had questioned the surface data, how it was collected and filtered, and had forced CRU and others to release the raw data and their corrections, they wouldn’t be having this “oh, shit!” moment right now. As it is, even if the Russians were lying and CRU suddenly “found” their lost raw data and could show they hadn’t manipulated it like they’re being accused of, nobody would believe them after the leaked CRU-tape Letters exposed their mendacity.

This works in the U.S., too. If you had taken the average temperatures in, say, Las Vegas in the 1940s and compared them to the temperatures today, odds are very good they’re going to be hotter now. But that’s because the city’s population is roughly 25-30 times what it was right after World War II, and with that growth comes more housing, businesses, infrastructure, and, yes, vehicles, that are going to generate heat.
The tests need to be done in areas where conditions are roughly the same in terms of population, as they were in the past. Odds are in those locations, you’re going to see little, if any, deviation in temperatures over the past 50-60 years than what’s due to the normal variances in annual climate patterns.
