Audio: Massachusetts teacher confirms Jennings controlled material at “fisting” conference

posted at 10:12 am on December 14, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit continues his investigation into “Safe Schools” czar Kevin Jennings and his involvement in a GLSEN conference that taught young teenagers about sexual techniques like “fisting,” “rimming,” and “watersports.” Some have suggested that Jennings did not know what kind of materials would be included in the curriculum for the conference, and contemporaneous reporting on the outrageous materials resulted in GLSEN firing one of the presenters. However, Jim interviews a Massachusetts teacher who attended the conference, and she tells Jim that Jennings not only was one of the presenters himself, he also was clearly in charge of all aspects of the presentations:

The audio is a little hard to understand, but Jim has a transcript. Here’s a key section:

GP: It’s a great picture. So there’s no way. Let me ask you this, there’s no way that Kevin Jennings could have been at this conference and not know that there was this explosive sexual speeches, talks, materials around the conference?

MT: This whole conference was his dream and his mindset. This was his vision from the very beginning.

GP: So there was no way that they would have had material there that he would not have, would you say approved of?

MT: Obviously, this is material that he abvocates. Even today if you read the text of some of the books that they put out.

GP: That was up on my blog, by the way.

MT: He knew about that too. He knows about everything all along. Remember, the buck stops with him. He was the head of all of this.

GP: OK.

MT: He brought in all of the people that would agree with him as any administrator would do. You bring in people who agree with you who you can work with.

Teenagers need a clear understanding of human biology, reproduction, and disease transmission in order to be properly educated in the mechanics of sexuality, and that should be accompanied by a proper moral foundation instilled by parents and family.  They do not need a how-to presentation on fetishistic practices at the age of fourteen, which is exactly what GLSEN’s presentation promoted, as this graphic shows:

I’m repeatedly struck by the childish presentation of this material, which shows that it’s obviously intended for adolescents by its presenters.  “How safe is dat“?  “Hooking up”?  The repeatedly dropped “g” on the gerunds?  The 1950s style cartoons of the doctors?  It’s almost embarrassingly patronizing for an age set that should be more focused on learning the basics, rather than getting indoctrinated into the outliers of sexual activities by cartoon characters.

Anyone who thought this material was appropriate for 14-year-olds shouldn’t be within 500 yards of a school, and as a choice for “safe schools” czar is as much a cartoon as the doctor on this handout.

Update: Shorter Media Matters — “Yes, Jennings was there, yes he gave the keynote speech, and yes, he was in charge of the group that staged this conference — but how dare you insinuate that he approved of it!” Noted.

I’d like to teach Mr. Jennings a new technique, called “batting”.

That’s where he’s in a locked room, blindfolded, with one of the parents of a student he “taught”, the parent brandishing a Louisville slugger.

I have a friend who got caught taking a leak on a bush in public after a night of bar crawling. He was charged with indecent exposure and public urination AND had to register as a “sexual offender”—-for taking a leak at 2:00am.

However, this Kevin Jennings guy, puts out this stomach churning stuff–stuff that is illegal, dangerous, immoral and clearly unsafe for children AND adults–and he’s the “safe school czar.”?????

Gay marriage is cool; gay-is-cool on the tv (e.g. queer eye for the straight guy); fisting and homosexual sex is ok.

How many kids are home schooled and how many are being taught their self esteem is just fine in public schools – with a touch of homosexual, multiculturaism pixie dust thrown in?

Pure, unadulterated, brazen filth. I presume these things are legal between consenting adults, but anyone who even mentions them to children should be cut up and fed to the sharks. Or, as Jesus himself put it, better that a millstone be tied around their necks and they be cast into the sea.

This is way beyond “gay rights”; Obama is trying to implement NAMBLA on the whole country.

Rats, “safe word” reference already made ten minutes ago. Nice one, SouthernGent.

This is another Van Jones moment for legacy media. The NYT will have lots of ‘splainin to do when Jennings takes his leave at midnight over some weekend. Unless the White House wants to draw a line in the sand over sexual deviancy education for adolescents in public school.

Go ahead call everyone “homophobic” who opposes graphic fisting instruction for children. Should defuse that term for good.

You know society has fallen into disrepair when the curriculum for school children starts mirroring the room posted with warnings at the Sex Museum in Amsterdam. Not sure that still exists; it did in 1987.

This goes well beyond proper teaching of biology and human reproduction, warning students of STDs and safe sex. This is an S&M guide that shouldn’t be taught to kids, and I’m shocked that someone who thinks this is appropriate teaching material is still working in the White House.

If an adult male tells a 14-year-old neighbor’s daughter what he did with his wife the night before, and that girl tells her father, the guy who opened his mouth about his sex life would have that mouth filled with a fist. Repeatedly.

But it’s okay to teach adolescents about sadomasochistic and/or gay practices? Maybe that’s why the MSM is silent about this: they might not want to appear ‘homophobic’.

As it’s said: Silence implies assent.

Silence is all we’ll likely get from the media or even from the likes of Beck or Rush. I guess Hannity’s been making some noise, but I predict it won’t take off like the Van Jones outrage. People have been cowed into fear from speaking out against any kind of sexual deviance within the gay lifestyle. It’s just the reality. Apparently, once you accept it into the mainstream of culture, you have to buy the whole gamut of sexual behaviors lock, stock and barrel. There is no parsing out of certain behaviors as bad, inappropriate, or prurient – only “out there if you want to do them.”

If shame and disgrace is what kept homosexuality out of mainstream culture, then ALL shame goes with it once you turn everything around and welcome and celebrate it. So who is anyone to speak a word against it? You HAD your chance, you bigots. That right has been abolished.

Certainly there is deviance and fetish in heterosexuality, obviously. But you will also have (I would surmise) most heterosexuals decrying that as representative of the entire heterosexual lifestyle.

But where do you ever hear or see gay folks frowning at or shushing those who parade extreme sexual behavior in their communities? It’s kind of a free-for-all in that way.

To speak against any of it is to speak against all of it. So expect the most outspoken right-wing voices to remain mum or give it a shrug.

This goes along with the Camel cigarette adds that caused such an uproar because the graphics came across so “cool” that it supposedly enticed kids to want to smoke.

I believe the successful advertising using the Camel was pulled in part due to this.

It is bad enough to see liberals defend this disgusting smut along with pedophilia as conservatives making a big deal over nothing.

But what makes it more aggravating is the same people who say we are “hyperventilating” over this are the same people who get their panties all twisted up hearing the words “Merry Christmas” and having the words “In God we Trust” on our money.

I told my son if they ever teach something that is disgusting or is I don’t approve of tell the teacher walk out and call me. So far it’s never happened.

The left is apparently too stupid to know that they are providing nuclear weapons to their cultural enemies in the Culture Wars. This is almost too easy.

Obama can now be portrayed with perfect accuracy as

- the most radical proponent of abortion in U.S. Presidential administration history (I know that sounds heavy — name me one person in a previous administration who was publicly in support of partial birth abortion), and

- a public supporter of deviant sexual behavior lessons for 14 year old school children.

This is child abuse. This is exploitation of youth. Capitalizing on young teen’s natural hormonal urges by providing them this information says more about the prurient desires of the facilitating adults.
Lock these (figurative) child molesters away. Total righteous anger, right now.

Its almost sad that in the end (no pun intended) all homosexuals have is their sexual acts to define themselves by. You can’t teach about homosexuality without talking about homosexual sex. Of course they could try teaching about homosexual love and relationships, but, according to their own propaganda, there’s no real difference between homosexual relationships and heterosexual relationships. The only thing that makes them different is how they give or receive sexual gratification.

There’s a plethora of teen oriented literature about hetersexual love and relationships that do not broach the topic of sex. A certain vampire anthology comes to mind. However, to my knowlege, there is no genre of nonsexual homosexual literature. I guess what I am saying is that homosexuals need someonw to write a gay Twilight…or is that redundant?

Seriously … at what point does “sex education” just become an excuse for dirty old bastards like Jennings to talk dirty to young teenage girls without being thrown in jail? Just looking at this guy makes me want to go and take a shower.

Would that “graphic” be legal to send via the USPS?

If so, what would the reaction be if several thousand copies were sent to the office of the POTUS, with a question re if he knows what his Czar has been up to in the past?

Perhaps the FLOTUS would like some copies also.

When are we going to have enough? I keep asking myself, “How long are you going to keep paying for this crap?” They make me pay for abortions, the indoctrination of our children with mind-bogglingly immoral garbage… WE are paying for this crap! And it shouldn’t have taken this over the top outrage to get us to take action. They’ve been teaching kids how to put condoms on vegetables for quite a long time, if my information is correct. If you want to teach your child how to have ‘safe’ sex, which is an oxymoron, then knock yourself out. I don’t want to pay for it! I’ll pay to teach them to read and write, etc…but sex isn’t something the schools should be promoting. But here I am, paying taxes that are used for this crap!

Render unto Ceasar is only going to hold so much weight when we stand facing judgment. That scares the crap out of me.

Ok, I think we need a little bit of confirmation and coaching from our big tent resident gay rights experts ernesto and Jetboy.

Being against gay marriage makes you a churchy mcbigot..so, what about teaching children about fisting? Is it okay to be against that? Will generations in the future mock us for our backwards views? Or will they be too busy banging children to care?
