Matthews on West Point: Obama went to the “enemy camp” tonight, didn’t he?
posted at 9:18 pm on December 1, 2009 by Allahpundit
All he meant, I take it, is that the current commander-in-chief might not be Mr. Popularity among the presumably hawkish, right-leaning majority of cadets. But when your mouth is bigger than your brain, this is what happens. Twitter’s already buzzing about it so have at it. Exit question: How soon before the public apology? Middle segment on tomorrow night’s “Hardball”? Opening segment? Or does he take to the airwaves tomorrow morning and do the deed on “Morning Joe”?

I’m guessing Matthews’ idea of a friendly camp is one that features man/elf sex.

Point being, it’s what Chris Matthews really thought, and so did Obama, and so did those cadets. But nobody’s supposed to say it.

I know. Matthews is stupid stupid, hence a stupid Joe Biden.

Here is an excerpt of what I just wrote to that mental deviant (and that is the description least likely to get me banned)
…Since you have just said that every cadet in West Point is a traitor to his or her oath, am I now free to question your patriotism? You, sir, are talking like an idiot…

And if the Messiah had gone to make a speech to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Tora Bora he would have been in a friendly camp?
Dr. ZhivBlago on December 1, 2009 at 10:53 PM
Chrissie Wissie who wouldn’t know a damn thing about honor, dedication or love of country calling West Point the enemy. That speeches about defending america were rable rousing when Bush held them at West Point. Please go home with your talking Obama doll and let your leg tingle.
Well Chrissie you dumb remark has raised the rable to want your butt canned. Maybe instead we should let Comcast fire you for having the worst ratings in primetime. I swear if I didn’t know better he did this so we would call and get him fired since he will probaly be kicked to the curb shortly anyway. That way he can blame the “rabble” for his firing.

Well, I just say the race-baiting spin doctor spoke the liberal mind. I certainly knew they hated the forces; he just slipped up and admitted it on television. Clinton considered the uniformed man the enemy, Carter was infuriated that he had to ‘grovel’ to them for a job, and Obama is the worst of both their worlds; a 60s black radical that ‘Peter Panned’, never maturing out of his childish cocoon world. Of course, as far as the Liberal Entertainment Complex is concerned, this never happened.
Virus-X on December 1, 2009 at 11:14 PM
Haha – the Boss on her blog implies Chrissie was upset Obama didn’t have to interrupt his speech with “Uhm, can we get some help? A group of female cadets just fainted over here.”

Yet another in the seemingly endless stream of liberal Democrat reminders which reinforce what we all already know: the Democrats regard our military as the enemy, both politically and literally.

Matthews says USMA is the enemy camp. What does that make the Taliban and Al Qaida to this leftist commentator? This is why you don’t elect a leftist (Obama)to the position of Commander in Chief.

Perhaps if Obama did not have the poor taste of masturbating himself in front of a live audience while looking at his image in a mirror he would have received more applause.

Matthews is trying to explain what he meant by this stupid statement. He has Paul Eaton on to bash the Republican party and the Bush Administration.

I am a disabled veteran. My son is an infantryman currently in Afghanistan. My father is a veteran of WWII, and his father of WWI.
I consider it a singular honor to be considered by Chris Mathews as a member of the enemy camp.
My son, myself, and my father, grandfather and on before him swore an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign, and domestic.
If Chris Mathews considers me an enemy, then what does that say about his tingle-leg buddy Obama?
Yeah… there it is folks, plain and simple, unadulterated.

It takes someone who is disdainful of the military to make a statement like this.
Chris Matthews should take stock of exactly who provides the freedoms he enjoys to spout the brain-blastingly stupid stuff he does.

Among those at that speech, in that “enemy camp” Chris are those men and women who will lie dead on some battlefield in the next year, the next decade.
What a revealing and horrible comment to make. It was not simply a poor choice of words.

Digusting! But, it shouldn’t surprise anyone here. The left hates the military. They always have and always will.
Obowma ‘the great speaker’ was profoundly anemic as usual last night reading the TOTUS at West Point. The man is an empty vessel. Incapable of a sincere thought.
Urban Infidel on December 2, 2009 at 6:55 AM
Matthews is an unhinged, rabid hack. No more and no less. Is he stupid for saying what he said? That’s a toss-up. I just think that he is so delusional he doesn’t realize that he is actually broadcasting to an viewing audience and not fulminating to a dozen or so ex-SDS types at a Berkeley cocktail party.
But he did actually speak the truth. Shocking as the statement was, it is nevertheless true. Obama hates the US military. Or to be more precise, he hates the USA – its ideals, founding principles and what it stands for.

angryed on December 2, 2009 at 7:52 AM
Did Matthew’s “infection” start in the leg and spread to the brain or vice versa?
The serious part here is, there are American citizens who think just like this moron. Anyone with an opinion that contradicts the leftist ideology of Kum Ba Yahism—world peace through understanding and appeasing the misunderstood—is the enemy. Matthews and his ilk see no enemy other than the American aggressor (warmongers). It’s as if 9/11 never happened, or the mentality that we brought this disaster home because our lifestyle threatens others.
Through their “faith” in their Messiah, (and Joe Biden’s morning show tour to back his president’s resolve to fight an 18 month war), they, (the left), and every armchair general with a blog), will puff up their chest and say “at least our president has a strategy and a road map to victory”, along with the typical “Bush should not have turned his back on the Taliban and al Qaeda”. This will not last long before the left will begin their own proven strategy of producing “duelfer-reports” and exploiting every transgressive move where a poor victim is wiped out in collateral damage. Whether it’s a Captain Calley My Lai Massacre or another Murtha marine crucifiction, the left will turn their backs on Obama—and more importantly our military—just as they did on Johnson.
Scumbuckets like Matthews, Arianna Huffington, the New York Times, et al, will not only faciliate this process, they will be praised as icons for peace when they are in fact the enemy and traitors to this nation’s resolve.
Dr. Brzezinski just ripped Huffington on the morning Joes show for making the claim that the Karzai government is corrupt and illegitimate. He said—straight to Huffington—that it was disingenuous to judge Karzai when he was the only one willing to step up and take on the Taliban after 9/11. Huffington just sat there with the “deer in the headlights” look while Brzezinski took her pathetic argument and shreded it. It was priceless! But so is every moment when the leftards or put in their place, or back under the rocks where they belong.

They weren’t there to fill the thrill up their leg…they were there for business, and that business is destroying our enemy.

Matthews reminds me of Dan Rather, cooking his brain through the years in the juices of his chronic hatred and anger. If he manages to stay on the air for another ten or fifteen years, maybe he’ll become sufficiently deranged to humiliate himself utterly, the way Rather did.
