Republicans and Democrats that openly and enthusiastically run on this platform will have a HUGE advantage in the upcoming elections.

“We’ll reverse and repair the damage resulting from the failed policies and ideology of the Obama adminstration.”

That needs to be the meme. That needs to be the battle cry.

Didn’t the Democrats, in S-CHIP, define “child” as being up to 25 or 27 years old?

Reality is hard. I would sure like to see some. I am willing to bet opposition to Obamunistcare is closer to 75%, but it will be a while before the “revised” polls get there, because like, polling is “an inexact science”.

Without leaners, the picture looks just as grim for ObamaCare advocates. Only 35% of adults — not registered or likely voters — support the bill

Ok so those living off the government support it…and that’s about it.

If the additional taxes go into effect immediately and the benefits do not begin until 2014, just who is going to go in the voting booth in 2010 and vote for more of that?

Very few people are subject to the tax. And, the pain of the health care “surtax” will be masked in part by the pain of the tax increases that will be coming down the pike in 2010 when the Bush tax cuts expire.

Are our elected representatives listening? They’ll listen a year from now, but if these numbers are any indication, that will be far too late.

Too late for them perhaps. Not for the country if it causes their electoral demise.

The same people who are waiting on their share of ” Obama money”. The same dunces who voted him in.

Democrats favor the bill by 76%. Blind, deaf, dumb, and crazy!

It’s an uphill battle for those against the bill when you have the dems AND the press advocating in concert for it.

That said, the battle must be fought doubly hard by those who have the truth and it must be won or this country, as we know it, is history.

Ask the Czars how that worked out for them.

You’d think someone up in D.C. would pick up a history book and use it for something other than to level a wobbly table. That goes for the climate changers in the UK. Man, what a “duh” moment.

I spent the last ten days deer hunting with my kids. Didn’t see or hear much TV, radio, or Internet. Not surprised to find when I came back, the ruling class is as crass and blind to the obvious as they were when I left.

That means once they pass it, they’ll have all of next year to improve public opinion. Plus, all the crazy stuff in the health care bill doesn’t start up until 2013, so nobody will feel any of the pain of the bill in time for 2010.

All the ‘crazy’ stuff? Taxes will begin in 2010. So we are going to have to pay for this long before we get anything for our payment.

People are going to hate this. This expansion of entitlements instead of the restriction of them is going to hasten the collapse of this country. We are better off without Washington DC. . . especially if they are going to squander the wealth of this country including the future wealth of this country.

Again, they want control of an industry that is currently controlled by each state and costs 2.5T/year. They only have 2T a year currently in tax revenue. The only way to square that circle is to bankrupt the future.

I guess it really doesn’t matter because no one in DC gives a damn about the United States Constitution and so many “conservative bloggers” don’t give a damn either….

I’m hoping that the phonelines to DC melt now and scare the living daylights out of the political class before it is too late.
