The foreign-policy team that includes Emanuel and Samantha Power (at the National Security Council) has ideological interests in getting Israel to surrender.

Err, really? Even though Emanuel volunteered with the Israeli Defense Forces?

I think it's a mistake for Obama to make Emanuel a primary voice in shaping US policy towards Israel, but to claim that he's ideologically driven to get Israel to "surrender" is preposterous.

Looking at this photo, Maobama can't even kiss ass correctly. Either shake the man's hand or bow, not both. If you are acknowledging your superior as Maobama seems to be doing, you don't touch your superior with your filthy hands. For an elitist he sure is stupid with no clue as to what protocol is.....

NYT is really just pissed that Obama hasn't repealed Don't Ask, Don't Tell or the Defense of Marriage Act yet. This is their shot across the bow, telling him to get on the stick about gay rights or they are going to keep attacking him on other issues.

I've noticed something very uplifting and comforting while reading as much as I can online about the outed emails and documents from the CRU (Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University).

It seems that many people all around the world are waking up to the reality that they have been sold down the river by politicians and their governments.

We are still ahead here unlike those in Great Britain who are now vetting parents to see if they will be "approved" to attend their children's Christmas pageants and programs, etc. Apparently, everyone in the UK is now under watch as a supposed child molestor unless proven innocent.

We are still ahead here because Obama has not completely sold us out yet to the Copenhagen Treaty -- and because any treaty he or his appointees sign on to must be approved by our Senate (although there is debate that we may have lost that right in some earlier Supreme Court ruling?).

We are still ahead here because our people are waking up and because we have at least one television media outlet that continues to expose the truth about what is going on in Obama's administration.

We are still ahead here because we are not yet part of a "European Union" type affair whereby we have sold away all our soveriegn rights to a larger regional government.

Unfortunately, we are about on par with all the other developed countries when it comes to the brainwashing of our under 30 crowd. It will be a long slog to bring them into an age of new enlightenment exposing the truth that our governments have perpetrated lies upon us while working hand in hand with major banks and corporations to strip us of our hard-earned assets.

I find it comforting to read the comments of Australians, Canadians, and Americans -- all off-shoots of Great Britain settled at the time of William & Mary, Queen Anne, and the various Kings George I-IV -- many of whom seem to share a common bond of common sense. I would not be at all surprised to see a major uprising in the UK quite soon as they are farther progressed along the path of anti-socialism. The Aussies are already planning how to get Kevin Rudd out of the Prime Minister's spot and calling for total repudiation of the ETS (their Cap & Trade legislation).

Is there a possibility of a multi-country revolt against the UN? I don't know. But I do know we are closer to that possibility now than we have ever been.

Unfortunately, neither of these publications considered the ramifications of endorsing an inexperienced ideologue for the top job when it counted.

But we see no sign that President Obama and Mr. Mitchell were thinking more than one move down the board.

my main point was that he had appointed “two devout Muslims” to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, one of them born in Syria. control.

silvernana on November 28, 2009 at 8:10 PM

This is apparently true. One of the men seem to have been a prosecutor...but so what? The other seems to have no credentials for the position imo, member of the Arab American Anti Defamation league, and an Human Rights award holder????
Really? Realllly?

or, your theory..that Obama is some sort of Manchurian Candidate whose super secret squirrel mission is to destroy America from within on account of him being a Muslim?
CapitalistPig on November 28, 2009 at 2:14 PM

That is pretty much my theory and you can see it being played out by his actions. In my original post, my main point was that he had appointed "two devout Muslims" to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, one of them born in Syria. This was done in Aug. and is the first I've heard of it. Sorry, but that is worrisome to me because it was men of the "devout Muslim faith" that flew planes into U. S. buildings not too long ago. More and more Muslims are being filtered into our government and our military. It is their goal to do this and eventually take control.

A con man has only contempt for his marks. I don't think the MSM realize fully, as of yet, the contempt in which Obama holds them. We are all realizing the contempt he feels for America and Americans, a contempt which conservatives saw in the very beginning.

Not destroy America but reshape it to his, and his Chicago tribe's liking. He was rejected by Wall Street out of Harvard and had to accept work as a copy writer within view of Wall Street.

He has a score to settle.

His mentors were Marxists, or at a minimum adored those theories.
His minister and his good friends the Bill Ayers family were in his circle.
He got a deal on his property from a crook. His wife only in the past year or so began loving and appreciating the USA.

Why did she not love America? Because apparently we aren't fair enough, we don't kick down to those that haven't achieved. We don't make way for everyone to get ahead which of course is a lie.

Manchurian Candidate, close to it but they don't want to ruin America, they want to change it and punish us severely for daring to promote individual freedoms within our country and abroad.

The NYT recognizing his amateurish nature is the most damning message yet by the lame stream media.
It's downhill for him from this point now.

Obama’s loyalties should be a matter of legitimate concern. If he is using his position of power to undermine the Constitution in the name of his faith or his political ideology, then we have a duty and a right to question his decisions and behaviors.

Indeed

20 years at Rev. Wright’s knee made him a Black Nationalist Marxist/Narcissist. That’s what he is and that’s what matters! Surrounding himself with a bunch of Leftist, Maoist and Che loving supporters doesn’t come from his religious faith.

Indeed, and it wasn't only Wright either.

He’s an atheist, not that it matters what he is.

This is like playing chess with my seven year old.

He gets real cocky now that he understands how all of the pieces move. He makes complex plans for how he's going to beat me, looks across the board, rub his hands together and grins evilly.

What he always forgets is that I'm making my own plans, that I'm not playing the game so that he can show off his fancy moves but so that I can defeat him as quickly as possible.

He gets really excited when he takes a pawn of mine with his queen and then is always surprised when I take his queen on the next move.

The difference between my son and this administration is that my son realizes when he's losing, he knows that he's not very good at the game yet and he is eager to take instruction so that he can improve.
