I beg of you, please read Huston Smith's Why Religion Matters:
The Fate of the Human Spirit in an Age of Disbelief

It thoroughly covers the current debate of "Scientism",
"World Views",
and The Scopes Trial aka
"Inherit the Wind"'s whoreywood
production.

Be not slothful...

I can understand Amy's problems with the LAPD. I had my 1977 Toyota Celica coupe (nothing like a Pink Rambler, but of equal worth to its owner) stolen in Culver City from in front of a restaurant just outside of Mar Vista. I called CCPD and they came out and took a report. Three days later, I got a call from an LAPD detective. "You're car wasn't stolen. It was parked in front of the Mar Vista projects in the middle of the street and was towed for illegal parking."

The interior of the car had been stripped. The contents of the trunk (including a baby seat) was missing. I had to dispute a parking ticket.

Science is based on our political ideologies, not on facts or theories that can be tested or results that can be reproduced, science is what we say it is, not what you think it should be. We are the scientists and science cannot be trusted to those of you who do not think in the correctly approved manner.

You must take our word for what we say is scientifically proven, you cannot question our judgments because you are not peer-reviewed, we will not approve review of your nonsense, therefore it is not scientific because it is not per-reviewed.
