With the 35% of young black males unemployed, you would think Obama would realize that these are jobs taken by the illegals and not push forward with his amnesty. Conservatives must realize after going through this debacle with Obama and his crew and all the destruction liberalism has done to this country, we can never be be content again to sit back and just let things happen. We did this too for far too long. We must drive a stake into the heart of the MSM, and work to take back the morals this country was founded on. We can boycott the crap Hollywood puts out, the vile music awards shows, and the crap the rappers and shock rock musicians put out. We need more Breitbarts and alternative conversative media. We can't let up now - we have a good start!

Still, in October, for the third straight month, the number of Americans identifying themselves as Democrats inched up while the number of Republicans fell slightly.

This is just more proof that tea partiers are leaving the Republican Party nominally. The number of Republicans goes down as tea partiers switch identification from GOP to IND, but they still vote the same, so the gap among independents goes up.

I keep harping on this, too. This is definitely the manifestation of conservatives identifying less with the RINO GOP and more as independents.

But none of this blather matters. What matters is November 2010, and we need to crush Obama and his leftist Fifth Column, take control of congress outright, neuter than socialist assclown, and begin a serious campaign to find a leader for 2012. Someone serious, who is not on the radar at present.

Gallup finds that since January The One’s approval rating is up one point among blacks

LMAO. After a year of being called Uncle Tom by their black friends, the DNC and their Moms, the four black guys in America who didn't approve of Obama in January have been beaten back into line.

Everyone knows it. Just say it already. It’s the reason they voted for the guy in the first place.

Say it and make the pc crowd cry.

The fact that Bambi can still garner 51% indcates that voters in NJ are still double Ds.
As much as I love the humpbot, save it until Americans are wise enough to appreciate it.Like after we are rid of Obambot.

Err, while humpbotting over the 24 point gap in independents, AP misses this:

Still, in October, for the third straight month, the number of Americans identifying themselves as Democrats inched up while the number of Republicans fell slightly.

This is just more proof that tea partiers are leaving the Republican Party nominally. The number of Republicans goes down as tea partiers switch identification from GOP to IND, but they still vote the same, so the gap among independents goes up. It's really not that meaningful.

Republicans winning by 7 points overall - now that's meaningful. If tea party independent candidates actually show up on ballots, that will be cease to be meaningful, however.

About the race thing, it may be too soon before the black community turns their back on Obama. If they see him as THEIR President (as one of their own), then they will likely support him for a long time. A successful Black President would likely mean a lot to them.

Sorry for being elitist by describing what others may be like. It's just that I'm in a minority (not black), but if someone with a similar background to mine (or anything else I had a connection with) were elected, I'd want them to succeed. How long will this last? I don't know. But from personal experience with people of my background, if the polls start to go down, it won't be a little bit, it'll be an avalanche. We'll see if that happens. However, it won't be anytime soon.

Moesart on November 24, 2009 at 9:02 PM

It's demonstrably not. Ken Blackwell, Michael Steele, Lynn Swann .... None did especially well among the black voters in their state.

Just being black is clearly not enough to win the black vote.

Democrats, on the other hand, garner consistent 90% black support. Black AND Democrat, more like 95%.

Exit question two: Which deep red state now has Obama’s approval rating at a feeble 51/42?

Either this is a mistake, or AP's sarcasm has become too dry to read. One semi-conservative Governor does not a Red State make.

If unemployment numbers are 35 percent for any other minority group, you would expect a GOP lead. This +1 could be just a fluke but the Dem bias is not.

Hannity had Imus on who said the unemployment with AF is at 35%. I haven't seen that figure anywhere else and I don't like Imus much, but if that figure is correct than that 1% jump in the polls has got to be a fluke

O is such a disaster on many fronts but he is supported by an extra one point (more than 90%?) by African Americans who have ironically been hardest hit by the recession. Sort of like cutting off your nose to spite one's face. O is judged more for the color of his skin than the content of his character which is just sad....

Yep, he has been a dud so far and to be a dud so early on, one has to wonder what the rest of his term will be like.

One reason Obama may have maintained support among blacks is their overwhelming affiliation with the Democratic Party.

Oh. Yeah, that's what it is.

Nothing to see here. No racism among black voters. Move along.
