I know I’m not the first to think of this; just today I was thinking that now that Sarah is out in the public, she better have some darn good security. For the whole family. The leftists are stone cold evil and I pray for the protection of God, Our Lady and the Angels on the Palin’s.
Its always darkest before the dawn. The rampant corruption will backfire. Just like whehn the house bank was exposed the American people’s backlash was swift and sure. the fact that the reps screwed the pooch gioves me hope in a way because now both parties have been judged and found wanting. It is a great time for an outside that is in the party but not of the party to rise. since the dems are groupthinkers and destroy any one that goes against party thought like only tru Stalinists can this means that the person will most likely come for the GOP with its foundation of liberty and freedom. Personally I think the dems just handed Palin the tools needed to build a major political movement tonight. If she takes it. The door she has been waiting for just opened. I think

They handed it to her the first day she stepped on the national stage and they began their non-stop attacks. I believe this is America’s last chance to take our country back.
I truly believe that Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Soros, etc., are going to be the cause of their own downfall.
We have to keep fighting, we have to put aside doubt, fear and discouragement as much as is possible and just stay in the trenches until the job is done. Its times like these when we find out what we’re made of and we may realize we’re stronger than we thought we were, both as individuals and as Americans.
Most importantly of all we have God and “if God be for us, who can be against us?”
At the moment, I have reasonable hope we can retake the House in 2010. There are lots of very talented, attractive, and hard working candidates on our side. The Senate is much more difficult this year, but I believe we can significantly reduce the Democrat’s majority.
Then we will have to be careful and not do something that makes us look like we are nuts to the public, like shutting down the government or devoting a session to impeaching Obama. We will need to control our anger and think strategically to maintain and build a conservative led majority into 2012 and beyond.
Personally I think the dems just handed Palin the tools needed to build a major political movement tonight. If she takes it. The door she has been waiting for just opened. I think
While possible, the historical statistics are simply not good for an Obama defeat by any GOP nominee. And Palin may not want the nomination in 2012. She may be thinking the same thing and looking at 2016. Then, a GOP victory would be historically favored, if we can stay focused on fighting the opposition, instead of one another.
However, just as we can implode, the Democrats can throw away all their advantages by being too extreme. And since they seem intent on doing so, historic victories in both 2010 and 2012 are possible.

You may both be correct about 2012. I am only going on statistics, so I really have no idea. However, I do know that every hour that’s devoted to winning 2012, or promoting one’s preferred candidate for 2012, or trashing other candidates for 2012, is an hour not devoted to winning in 2010.
Also, even though running a successful presidential campaign is very complex, it is far less complex than running the hundreds of successful campaigns needed to win back the House. So, first things first.
anyone that needs hope check out these pictures. millions are out there pissed off, ready to rumble and not going to shut up. the left has no idea what it has awakened IMO.

but 1994 showed something most forget. 1994 was more than just a series of races. It was a national campaign for Congress. To get the same result in 2010 the GOP needs a national campaign and as long as the GOP has no message the dems can pick off the safe seats one by one. If on the other hand a true leader emerges in 2009, 2010 with a clear easy to understand message the 2010 midterms become easier for the GOP to win. this is why the dems are attacking the leaders of the GOP as they emerge. Rush, foxnews, Palin, beck. They do not want people to coalase around one person or one theme. The Tea party is good but it is fractured still. If one leader comes and wraps it into a message the dems are done. IMO

Not one Candide on our side has the support Sarah has that pic is playing out at every stop. The next bullet comes next month when SARAHPAC reports. The ad blitz is a good indicator. Sarah has more influence than the DC elites want to admit. Oh one last thing, with Sarah polling at 49% w/Indies she is no long Toxic. This book tour proves her support is solid and not a flash in the pan like last yr. might have been it is reconfirmed to her and that is important.

I completely agree, Loxodonta. The Republicans should focus on Congress and “drive the stake in,” so to speak. We are not guaranteed 2012 at all. Like I have said a thousand times before, Obama will be reelected. I can feel it in my bones. We must have a healthy, robust Republican majority in the House and pick up the 5 or 6 seats possible in the Senate.
And Lox, I want to thank you for posting such intelligent, thoughtful, well thought-out posts. It’s refreshing to read. I’ll take that over “Obama’s a filthy ba$tard” any day, or the evil that oozes from the orifice of Simplesimon and Grow Fins. After reading what the trolls had to say, or better yet burp, today, I’m fed up. We must take this country back from these leftist jerks. The fact that Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid control Congress says it all. They need to go. I will take nothing less.
If on the other hand a true leader emerges in 2009, 2010 with a clear easy to understand message the 2010 midterms become easier for the GOP to win. this is why the dems are attacking the leaders of the GOP as they emerge. I can see the GOP nationalizing the 2010 elections around a theme and a new “Contract with America.” However, the notion that this campaign has to be led by “a leader” worries me. I have seen a lot of very bitter divisiveness on this site and other conservative sites about who the 2012 nominee should be. If that gets injected into the 2010 campaign, I fear for the outcome. There are already many Congressional candidates aligned with different potential candidates for the 2012 nomination.
Instead of “a true leader” emerging in 2009 to lead the 2010 campaign, I see the likely 2012 nominee emerging from the 2010 campaign. So, I would encourage Palin, Romney, Huckabee, GOP governors, the RNC, heads of conservative think tanks, et al, to all pitch in and campaign for 2010 without casting aspersions on one another or appearing to be positioning themselves for 2012. Then, whoever does the best for the most candidates, will very likely be the 2012 nominee, if she or he wants that position.
They rot the soul of a nation, they work secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the Republic, they infect the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear! The Nazis from within have sealed the fate of our beloved Republic. Only God can help us now. Palin 2012. Let’s Roll.
I don’t think the Democrat politicians really want a public option. I’ve seen instances where unions could easily purchase and own the companies they claim to be victimized by, but that is the last thing they really want to do ( even though Obama gave them part of GovMotors ). Democrats don’t want to be accountable and on the hook for the hard decisions about rationing etc., and would rather be in the position where they are like the unions; the victim/victim advocate standing against the ones who make the tough calls.
Its always darkest before the dawn. The rampant corruption will backfire. Just like whehn the house bank was exposed the American people’s backlash was swift and sure. the fact that the reps screwed the pooch gioves me hope in a way because now both parties have been judged and found wanting. Resolute in our convictions and actuated by our passions we must uphold the legacy of our Founding Fathers; or else hang our heads in shame.
This why they went after Bork so badly. The libs’ agenda is to create ‘rights’ to health care, jobs, education all the way through college, and God knows what else. Bork would never have allowed them to keep such things.
The thing about Democrats is that they like poor people so much, they do their best to make as many of them as possible.
They want to make energy more expensive so that people will need a subsidy just to heat their homes. They want to make health care a right so that people will vote Democrat to get the only health insurance they will be able to afford. It is a racket. And of course they claim that all these things are rights, so that they can justify making a mockery of the Constitution. I suppose the next thing will be that we all have a right to food, and hence there will be agricultural collectives or some such nonsense.
Give it time. Then the do-gooders will tell you what we’re all allowed to eat.
Housing, too. When the people are totally dependent on government, government is their master. It’ll be a dictatorship of the altruistic–the worst kind possible.
Either the Democrats are power-med beyond measure, or they are indeed dumber than rocks!
Don’t any of them understand that their actions of Saturday, not to mention of the last few months, are what have sealed the fates of their political futures come November of 2010?
We have got to now insure that each and every one of these clowns is voted out of office, from Reid to Pelosi to Dodd to Frank to Murtha to Leahy and every one of them in between!

Our Lady Liberty has the mojo NOW. By 16 its more than likely be gone. Sarah has everything a candidate would want right at her feet. Opportunities like this do not come around to often and if she waits her support will dry up faster the a rain storm in the desert. It’s that simple.
Clyde5445 on November 22, 2009 at 12:25 AM
Huckabee and Romeny I believe are dead in terms of getting the 2012. It will either be Sarah or a new face. I like Mike Pence.
lavell12 on November 22, 2009 at 12:25 AM
You may both be correct about 2012. I am only going on statistics, so I really have no idea. However, I do know that every hour that’s devoted to winning 2012, or promoting one’s preferred candidate for 2012, or trashing other candidates for 2012, is an hour not devoted to winning in 2010.
Also, even though running a successful presidential campaign is very complex, it is far less complex than running the hundreds of successful campaigns needed to win back the House. So, first things first.

but 1994 showed something most forget.

This why they went after Bork so badly. The libs’ agenda is to create ‘rights’ to health care, jobs, education all the way through college, and God knows what else. Bork would never have allowed them to keep such things.
Liam on November 22, 2009 at 7:26 AM
The thing about Democrats is that they like poor people so much, they do their best to make as many of them as possible.
They want to make energy more expensive so that people will need a subsidy just to heat their homes. They want to make health care a right so that people will vote Democrat to get the only health insurance they will be able to afford. It is a racket. And of course they claim that all these things are rights, so that they can justify making a mockery of the Constitution. I suppose the next thing will be that we all have a right to food, and hence there will be agricultural collectives or some such nonsense.
Terrye on November 22, 2009 at 7:34 AM
Give it time. Then the do-gooders will tell you what we’re all allowed to eat.
Housing, too. When the people are totally dependent on government, government is their master. It’ll be a dictatorship of the altruistic–the worst kind possible.
Liam on November 22, 2009 at 7:39 AM
Either the Democrats are power-med beyond measure, or they are indeed dumber than rocks!
Don’t any of them understand that their actions of Saturday, not to mention of the last few months, are what have sealed the fates of their political futures come November of 2010?
We have got to now insure that each and every one of these clowns is voted out of office, from Reid to Pelosi to Dodd to Frank to Murtha to Leahy and every one of them in between!
This nonsense has to stop and stop now!

I’m at a complete loss as to why people think Palin is the answer to anything. Yea, she shines and she’s a good speaker but that is how our current president got elected and look how well that’s going.

when I heard Dingy Harry say this bill “saves Medicare” I asked myself just how that works? It reminded me of Bush saying
“I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system,” and it will probably work out just about as well.
How do you save a program by cutting it by $500,000,000,000
