... that woman on O’Reilly (the lib) ... mocked Sarah’s remark about “elitists”, making snide remarks about the money Sarah’s making on the book deals, insinuating that Gov. Palin was elitist for making that much money.

Annietxgrl on November 20, 2009 at 9:53 PM

So, Palin's an "elitist hick" now? That's an oxymoron.

Whereas, this woman's comments on O'Reilly make her an elitist hack -- something that is perfectly logically consistent.

In the circadian rhythm of the troll/moby cycle, we must be in the moby cycle right now. No trolls to be seen, but mobys galore.

Sorry. But it doesn’t matter to me. I just thought the writer should have gotten a “shout-out.”

Wow, you didn’t even read what I wrote. Oy!

Sarah DOES give a shout out to Lynn! ... HarperCollins were up front when the book was announced and told the world that Lynn would be collaborating with Sarah.

Sorry to be such a major a-hole here, but using the words “ghost writer” instead of collaborator, is not helpful, and ...

just reinforces the fact that AnninCA is an unreconstructed moby instead of a legitimate good-faith commenter.

... just lends credence to the filth on the left.

In other words, stop saying “ghost writer” the proper word id COLLABORATOR.

Why, <strike>Bill Ayers's</strike> Barack Obama's own autobiography, of course!

Any ghost-writer is only as good as the information, so I totally believed that she’s kept journals.

I liked “seeing” what she kept track about, too. That’s insight.

I don’t buy for a minute that she wrote the draft.

Sorry. But it doesn’t matter to me. I just thought the writer should have gotten a “shout-out.”

Sarah DOES give a shout out to Lynn! By definition, "ghost writers" as you insist on calling Lynn (something she is NOT) are never, ever acknowledged.

Seriously, the entire idea of having a "ghost writer" is to make people think YOU wrote the book. Sarah, Lynn Vincent, and HarperCollins were up front when the book was announced and told the world that Lynn would be collaborating with Sarah.

Sorry to be such a major a-hole here, but using the words "ghost writer" instead of collaborator, is not helpful, and just lends credence to the filth on the left.

And once more, since you are hard headed, Sarah thanks Lynn in the book.

Buying her book is a two-fer -

We get to support Sarah and send a CLEAR message to Washington at the same time. Buying her book is a repudiation of Obama. That's why they all keep trying to act like it's not a big deal.

Palin was spot on quitting her gov job. I wish she would just spell out how the dems and repubs in alaska made it impossible for her to function. She had an 80% approval rating in Alaska before being tapped for VP. They all turned against her after the election. It's not like anything changed in how she was doing her job as gov.

I think she doesn't say it because it makes her sound weak.

Remember, it took Obama over a year and 8 printings to sell just 800,000 copies of his turd of a book.

Norwegian on November 20, 2009

Another distinction is that Gov. Palin's book will actually be read.
I truly believe that Obama's book was bought mostly by people who couldn't get close enough to touch the hem of his garment. They show their loyalty by having the book, not by reading it. Hell, Obama doesn't care that they don't read it. He just wants the sales numbers to justify his self-image.
Libs may argue the same holds true for Gov. Palin's book, but a quick comparison of her actions, fueled by her convictions and concern for her constituents, and Obama's
actions, fueled by narcissism and hatred for American ideals, quickly puts the lie to that notion.

BTW, Huffington Post made their Main Story with HUGE HEADLINES about the screamers at the last signing.

AnninCA on November 21, 2009 at 2:22 AM
All the liberal anguish over some unhappy people suprises me. It's hard to believe that anyone would fault Palin for the excessive number of people showing up. Maybe they are entitled to be unhappy that the signings weren't scheduled for longer periods of time or that the stores gave out too many wristbands but now Palin should be blamed for her popularity?

And, no, I think a ghost-writer wrote it and Palin did the edit/revisions, etc.

AnninCA on November 21, 2009 at 1:08 AM
Really? To quote Sarah - that sounds backasswards. More likely Sarah wrote it and Vincent edited it for style and flow.

The book may not sell in SF Bay. Letterman, Madcow and Olbermann and other sexual deviants would sell there. Gov Palin is too classy and to healthy and normal.

Eagerly awaiting my copy of Sarahcuda\'s book to arrive at my door. I have watched the Bill O interviews and think she did great. It\'s fun watching the lefty\'s heads spin - I feel like I am watching a rerun of the Exorcist

"...she can't bring out the independents..."

You are behind the times.

The most 4 important numbers of the week:

From the Fox News poll released Thursday Nov. 19 and taken between Nov. 17-18.

Among independent voters:

Obama's F/UF: 34/51

Palin's F/UF: 49/38

NB: By the way Fox has Palin's overall F/UF at 47/42 and earlier in the week Rasmussen reported them at 51/43.

Bill O'Reilly interviews like the NYG blitzed Tom Brady in the Super Bowl two years, relentlessly coming from all different directions so that he would remain UNCOMFORTABLE throughout the game.

What I saw from Bill was a staccato, rapid-fire technique of putting the interviewee on the spot and forcing Sarah to think on her feet and demonstrate poise without getting flustered.

Don't get me wrong. I am not criticizing Bill. To his credit he allowed her to answer the questions without butting in, but when he knew she was finished with the answer, he did not pause in asking another question-an efficient use of TV air time.

Nobody else had done that to Sarah before and I think it helped show Sarah's serious side and that was and is smart. She hardly smiled through part 2 of the interview which was good.

I know Bill is not everybody's cup of tea, but Sarah passed the test with flying colors.

BTW, Huffington Post made their Main Story with HUGE HEADLINES about the screamers at the last signing.

The thread was lept on so fast by the bloggers that it was like a campaign thread waiting on a vote to come in.

*haha

They are truly desperate. Her success has completely spun the left.
