Any ghost-writer is only as good as the information, so I totally believed that she’s kept journals.

We get to support Sarah and send a CLEAR message to Washington at the same time. Buying her book is a repudiation of Obama. That’s why they all keep trying to act like it’s not a big deal.

Palin was spot on quitting her gov job. I wish she would just spell out how the dems and repubs in alaska made it impossible for her to function. She had an 80% approval rating in Alaska before being tapped for VP. They all turned against her after the election. It’s not like anything changed in how she was doing her job as gov.

I think she doesn’t say it because it makes her sound weak.

Remember, it took Obama over a year and 8 printings to sell just 800,000 copies of his turd of a book.

Another distinction is that Gov. Palin’s book will actually be read.
I truly believe that Obama’s book was bought mostly by people who couldn’t get close enough to touch the hem of his garment. They show their loyalty by having the book, not by reading it. Hell, Obama doesn’t care that they don’t read it. He just wants the sales numbers to justify his self-image.
Libs may argue the same holds true for Gov. Palin’s book, but a quick comparison of her actions, fueled by her convictions and concern for her constituents, and Obama’s
actions, fueled by narcissism and hatred for American ideals, quickly puts the lie to that notion.

BTW, Huffington Post made their Main Story with HUGE HEADLINES about the screamers at the last signing.

All the liberal anguish over some unhappy people suprises me. It’s hard to believe that anyone would fault Palin for the excessive number of people showing up. Maybe they are entitled to be unhappy that the signings weren’t scheduled for longer periods of time or that the stores gave out too many wristbands but now Palin should be blamed for her popularity?

And, no, I think a ghost-writer wrote it and Palin did the edit/revisions, etc.

Palin’s F/UF: 49/38

NB: By the way Fox has Palin’s overall F/UF at 47/42 and earlier in the week Rasmussen reported them at 51/43.

Bill O’Reilly interviews like the NYG blitzed Tom Brady in the Super Bowl two years, relentlessly coming from all different directions so that he would remain UNCOMFORTABLE throughout the game.

What I saw from Bill was a staccato, rapid-fire technique of putting the interviewee on the spot and forcing Sarah to think on her feet and demonstrate poise without getting flustered.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not criticizing Bill. To his credit he allowed her to answer the questions without butting in, but when he knew she was finished with the answer, he did not pause in asking another question-an efficient use of TV air time.

Nobody else had done that to Sarah before and I think it helped show Sarah’s serious side and that was and is smart. She hardly smiled through part 2 of the interview which was good.

I know Bill is not everybody’s cup of tea, but Sarah passed the test with flying colors.

The thread was lept on so fast by the bloggers that it was like a campaign thread waiting on a vote to come in.
