And have you seen the increases in the cost of food lately?

And the AP reports that in a little over a month over a million more people will exhaust their unemployment benefits.

But Bozo and his clown troupe, riding around in their little red fire engine keep saying the economy is improving.

That took place back in 1992, and the history of that episode should be required reading for any students of propaganda disguised as “journalism”.

To begin with, according to the Fed, the economic recovery began in March of 1991. For you Democrats here, that’s 18 months before the 1992 election.

The media failed to report it in orfer to defeat Pappy Bush, and Clinton ran on “it’s the economy, stupid”.

BTW, the NY Times finally got around to “reporting” that the recovery had, in fact, started in March of 1991.

They did so in 1999.

That’s kind of a dumb statement.

No one is cheering for the failure of America, but your statement does at least concede that things are failing, right? If that’s true, then isn’t it a good thing that people are starting to get past rhetorical flourishes and start probing into the failings of the people (adults, I’m told) currently in charge?

I’m not real excited that unemployment is on the rise, my job situation is increasingly potentially tenous, and bills are getting harder and harder to pay…just in time for Christmas, no less! There’s not much revelry there from me, but I am encouraged to see that people, by and large, are leaving the Obama ship and seeing this administration as the fraud it is.

I can’t remember who originated the quote, but there’s a good one that goes something like this: When heading in the wrong direction, the first step to progress is to to take a step back. I, for one, am glad to see people taking a couple of steps back from the Obama-hype to reassess some of the lofty promises that were made and weigh them against the outcomes.

We’ve got a long road ahead of us, but I consider this good news.

He was always a fiscal conservative, even as governor. He was my governor, so I’m familiar with his governing style. Most GOP who worked with him as President agree, too, with me on that one.

CNN did not include sample data in this partial release from their poll, so the partisan split of the sample cannot be determined.

LOL, they never disclose their polling sample.

As usual, the Left’s entire focus is on vanity.

Sarah Palin DOES have nice legs, she also has a nice face but most of all, she has great character and excellent ideas and beliefs. The latter is why people admire and enjoy her, among those of us who aren’t petty enough to denigrate another woman’s pretty “legs”
