At least if you lost, you would know you went down fighting. As God made little green apples, be assured if Palin gains the 2012 GOP nomination she will not go down without a fight. If Obama wins he will first have been bloodied up, bruised and wounded. He will not escape the ring unscathed.

That’s the game as I see it. I think Palin is our best shot at the White House. Before that, there’s the House and Senate in 2010. But, all along the way, it’s a game of last man standing. You keep in the fight, no withdraw, no quarter, and you keep swinging until you’ve got nothing left.

Which would pretty much by definition make that belief totally justified, right Maggie? As in not erroneous. It’s not paranoia — or “Palinoia” — if they really are out to get you.

Don’t give up hope in the America that we love. I woke up during the first Gulf War. I’d watch the daily press conference at the Pentagon and then watch the networks tell me what was said. It didn’t take long to realize one of us had watched a different briefing, or else one of us had an agenda.

That was long before the manbearpignet, blogs, twitter and every means of communication available today. Keep informed and be the one in your circle that friends and family come to find out the truth.

Americans don’t go away quietly and without a fight. To quote Lady Thatcher, “This isn’t the time to go wobbly.”

Does that statement bother anyone else? What, exactly, is unclear in her statements? She seems a whole lot more straightforward than the rest of the nuanced chattering political class.

What is unclear in her statements is the truth. They aren’t used to hearing it.

Given a choice I’d rather stand behind a fighter who was always willing to engage the enemy rather a beta male who sheepishly refrains from getting his hands dirty.

After the book tour, my guess is that she’ll have time to delve more deeply into national issues.

She knows the issues Ann.

Just reading the book so far, my sense is that she’s like a lot of women who have succeeded. Nothing beats good preparation.

This is merely a book tour. Half the battle is already won. People are reading it. She’s clearly laying out for people who she is, how she thinks, what she’s about. She’s not naive to politics. She knows how to win and lose.

That’s half the battle, I think. Nobody is going to win them all.

But her ideas are still seminal. After the tour is over, she can prepare in her own way on topics.

I love her hair.
