Ummm… CBO’s projection for 2019 GDP is $21T, so the price then (at .25%) would be $50B annual, or half a trillion for the 2020′s decade.
Granted, this assumes ~3% annual growth, but if that is like the rest of the unicorns, and fails to materialize, unemployment/uninsured will be high enough that $50B will be optomistic…

The whole point of “Roe v Wade” was privacy trumped the wishes of the government.
The privacy was based on being apart from the government.
Under a “public option” and under government mandates, the government is making the choices of what kind of medical treatment you are allowed, which runs completely counter to the “Roe v Wade” argument. In effect you have given up your privacy. Under this revised regime, a new administration & Congress could change the benefits allowed and completely and legally wipe out abortion (or kidney transplants, hair plugs, etc.) by a vote of Congress and the President’s signature.

My question is .. based on “Roe v Wade” is a federal or federal-only healthcare unConstitutional based on the destruction of privacy required for choice ?

While it is great for Reid to again be exposed as a crook and a liar, this CBO junk is Voodoo economics. Every thinking American know what will happen if any of these stinking Obamacare bills is enacted: Actual costs and deficits will skyrocket past the current “worst case” scenarios.

I find myself laughing with a bit of dread when I hear this talk of Obamacare cost a trillion or so over 10 years or whever the pie in teh sky number is. More like a trillion YEARLY when it gets up and running I’m afraid. One only has to look at the numbers for Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc which people have been paying into for decades and they’re several tens of TRILLIONS in debt but somehow we’re to believe this entitlement program will be different.

Either advocates of this plan are delusion to a self destructive scale rivaling that of a Jim Jones follower or they have malicious intent for this nation.

Neither is good considering they’ll take us with them.

Forecasting what the weather is going to be on Christmas is far easier than these toolbags forecasting the cost of jack or squat costs for their jack ‘n squat projects. The only consistent projection is that the true cost is going to exceed the projected cost.

Just as job losses or housing start changes are always “unexpected”, these same actual costs are going to be “unexpected.” However, if you ask real Americans will tell you what that shiite costs and that is ‘more than I’m willing to pay for it.’
