Check the interviews again. She is VERY quick with little hesitation. For example, Levin asked her if there was anything she could praise Obama for as he couldn’t think of a thing. Without missing a beat she said yes, his comments in China recently regarding free speech. Bonus points for not adding a qualifier (as I surely would be sorely tempted to do as in speculating aloud I doubt he really meant it).

Voice of the people? What people? A Jerry Springer Audience? And you should be medicated for just alluding to Ron Paul in a jogging suit.

I supported Sarah Palin during the presidential campaign. You post throws into high relief the mentality of those who continue to support her.

Also be mindful of this. As the tone and tenor of the electorate changes with the bright spot of Sarah on the horizon, the three horsemen (Rham/Axel/Jugsie) will try to take credit for that pulse quickening.

Not a cult of personality. Let me explain it to you. She reminds ordinary people of their own sister, wife, daughter, friend. So when you say that her voice is annoying and makes her sound stupid, people bristle as if you just said, “Your sister’s voice sounds stupid.”

My sister’s voice does sound stupid (to me anyway) and I certainly wouldn’t want her anywhere near the Presidency.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in every stop on the tour, but I’m especially looking forward to meeting our brave men and women in uniform at Fort Hood. I’m joining the efforts of many others by donating my royalties from the book sales during our stop at Fort Hood

I’m sick unto death of the ‘sexism’ of men who think that a pretty girl cannot be smart. To them women are only good for one thing, and it’s usually a whole lot of what they ‘aint gettin’. It’s not too far off of the Islam outlook that women should be punished for enticing a man to ‘rape’ her. Yup – asking for it – flog her.

I love it when Palin evokes Reagan; she falls back on tried and true principles that bought us out of the Carter malaise. The Obama malaise is far far worse. The Obama experiment is a failure, America. Now let’s do what we’ve seen work over and over again.

When unemployment is in double digits and skyrocketing inflation isn’t far behind, we don’t have the latitude to play around with gadgets and voodoo. We have to go back to free market principles, lower taxes, and I want the liberals out of my private decisions. They have no right to tell me what kind of car to drive, where to set my thermostat, what kind of lightbulbs to buy, or that I don’t need a mammogram (when I know that breast cancer kills, and early prevention is key).

Can’t wait to hear some idiot RINO tell me that soc/cons are too intrusive into private decisions like abortion…

that private decision …. for which the taxpayer is billed and society pays an even larger price.

They never heard of Rev. Wright or Bill Ayers.

I think everyone in the world knew about Wright. I disagree with Palin on this point about the campaign. The fact was that any personal type attacks were seriously frowned upon by voters. McCain was right to steer clear of the personal politics.

Wright broke as a story, and people let it slide. Not everything “works.”

People knew and did not care. I do think that if the media had talked about Wright earlier in the primary season when Obama was running against Hillary, it might have derailed him or slowed him down. After Super Tuesday it became an issue and Clinton did well for the next few weeks…but it was too late.

However, by the time the general election had come around people had absorbed that information and the majority had simply decided it did not matter. Beating it to death would not have changed their minds.

Terrye you are refering to the educated voter, but because of media treatment, everyone knew what Tina Fey said, but many Obama voters had no clue about his associations. They even thought the Republicans were in charge of Congress. They never heard of Rev. Wright or Bill Ayers.

But conservative David Frum says, she has brought it on herself.

DAVID FRUM: This is a woman who has got into a position of leadership by sending very powerful sexual signals. And we see that in the way that men like her much more than women do.

I like her energy is connected to our well being theme. That’s a solution. I am not as crazy when she evokes Reagan too much.

Well it worked for those guys back in 1776. Freedom vs Slavery to the state. It is the same battle fought over and over and over again. There is no new ideas. It is the elites for the little guy.

Reagan and the founders won because the people understand the above at a gut level.

Sarah Palin is now a bigger celebrity than Barack Obama, at least in the U.S.

I think the issue is about the ideas. Will Reagan Redux be the message people want to hear at this time?

It works for so many of you guys. Me? Not so much. I would like to hear fresh solutions.

These circumstances made it perfectly understandable that she “patient dumped” in her executive duties (that she received six figure salary after O became Senator). And she lost her license to practice law.

I believe you may be mistaken. Mrs. Obama’s salary was over 100,000 before the Senator made some vote or other on some side issue, THEN her salary was raised to $350,000.
