Video: San Diego TV station says Porkulus created … one job

posted at 3:35 pm on November 16, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

The continuing exposure of Porkulus Job Fables goes to San Diego, which used a Barbara Boxer appearance hailing job creation in the area. KUSI-TV reports that they can only find one job created by stimulus dollars in the area.  In fact, they expose Boxer’s dishonest representation of NIH grant money for research as “stimulus” funds, and marvel at the poor performance of Boxer in office (via Brian Faughnan):

“Her self-importance will likely be [an issue] in her re-election campaign.”

You think? One can only hope that Californians will be embarrassed by her ignorance of military etiquette and her self-absorption. If nothing else, though, the utter failure of Porkulus to slow joblessless in California and Boxer’s shameless flacking for it should allow the eventual Republican nominee to gain ground in a tough election.

…and the one job created is so highly specialized that in all probability only one person qualifies for it…

But that’s the best we can hope for from California. We won’t get a Senator Palin from that uberblue state.

But Chuck DeVore is really great! He’s pretty close to a Palin except no one would want to look at him.

What’s with Fiorina’s buzz cut? Is she/was she in the midst of cancer treatment?
That’s a serious question, by the way.

Okay here’s the serious answer

On February 20, 2009 Fiorina was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent surgery at Stanford Hospital on March 2, 2009 followed by chemotherapy, which caused her to lose her hair, and radiation therapy.

She has been given “an excellent prognosis for a full recovery.” Upon announcing her campaign for the U.S. Senate seat held by Barbara Boxer, Fiorina stated “I have to say that after chemotherapy, Barbara Boxer just isn’t that scary anymore.”

Barbara Boxer is an idiot. We must, we must, we must vote her out of office, even if it is a failed corporate CEO to replace her. I much prefer Chuck DeVore, though.

Lets hope the ads against her show how much of an elitist jerk she is. No middleclass or poor people want an elitist around and no elitist want other people making them all look bad.

California is the example of how the democrats have created a government-dependent state whose citizens think that the solutions to their problems lie with the democrats and more government.
