Just thought I might point out that all those estimates about how many bombs Iran could produce are based on an ASSUMPTION that they would be using the simplest (most obsolete) designs for their weapons. If they've acquired the technology for more advanced designs, those estimates would be exceedingly understated.

A bit more technology would turn those 1 or 2 bombs into 10 or 20 bombs in very short order. Considering the fact that they need a delivery system and don't have anything that could deliver those massive old school nukes, you can bet your bottom dollar that they are working just as hard to reduce the size of their weapons (so they can stick them on the end of a Scud or other missle/rocket)as they are at enriching the materials.

there’s no logical peaceful purpose for the un-secret Qom site

The purpose is to make medical isotopes. This was widely reported.

For the nuke sites, maybe.

For the leading power players running Iran, more than enough firepower.

When wandering through Texas, and you encounter a rattlesnake in your way, do you pin the tail, or the head?

The answers to some questions are self-evident.

For sure the next president will deal with a nuclear Iran. I really don't know, short of all out war, what any country can do about their getting the bomb. All the citizens of that country need to understand that their entire nation will be annihilated if a nuke gets tapped off in a Western country. Better get your Persian rugs now.

The question is...

Do we have enough time to out wait Obama's remaining 3 years before Iran makes a bomb or makes one and uses it?

I think at this time the American people are sick of Bush and sick of Obama, hopefully someone can LEAD this country back to success.

Just one man's opinion.

Well, the good news is that the intelligence community doesn't think the Iranians have a nuclear weapons program. At least that's what they said in their 2007 intelligence estimate. And those guys are always right on the money.

Did anyone actually believe Iran was not going to produce nuclear weapons? Liberals throughout our government put our nation at risk in some stupid vendetta against Bush. Now we have a bowing, apologizing, limp wrist moron for precedent. This will end badly for everyone involved.

The fraud in the White House really has to be careful about how much information leaks out concerning Iran's nuclear ambitions. As I've written for at least two years, it seems incredible that the WMD were never located in Iraq and two years later Iran has nearly 5,000 centrifuge, capable of producing weapons grade plutonium!

Was George W. Bush right? Was Bill Clinton right? Did Saddam Hussein have nuclear WMD and spirit them to Iran while the UN twiddled its thumbs?

We all know that the Russians have been "helping out" whenever possible, but upon closer examination, I believe you'll find the Iraqi WMD are now proudly wearing the colors of the AyatollahAssAHolla.

Dear Leader CAN'T let that be discovered...Never in a million years.

Cause and effect or coincidence? Only Khamenei knows, but note Ahmadinejad’s comments today about what Iran’s prepared to do if its demands aren’t met in negotiations. Every time we reach out, that clenched fist seems to clench a bit harder, doesn’t it?

If I were Bibi, I'd use the Hassan massacre as a good comparison for Iran: Hassan had been spouting lunacy and nonsense, threatening to hurt America long before he actually did. America was too late and we paid a dear price for not heeding the Islamist's call; hopefully Israel will not wait until it's too late.

If I were Bibi, I’d use the Hassan massacre as a good comparison for Iran: Hassan had been spouting lunacy and nonsense, threatening to hurt America long before he actually did. America was too late and we paid a dear price for not heeding the Islamist’s call; hopefully Israel will not wait until it’s too late.

[...] Color me shocked. BTW, that was sarcasm for you braincell challenged liberals. According to Wired.com, the UN’s atomic watchdogs are worried that the mullahs just might have more secret nuclear sites that haven’t been revealed or discovered. Iran is being so squirrely about its recently-revealed enrichment plant, the international inspectors say, that there very well could be others, scattered around the country. Really now? How is that even possible? Iran lying about nukes and nuke sites? IMPOSSIBLE! [...]

WHITEMAN AFB: Northrop Grumman Corporation has moved the U.S. Air Force a critical step closer to being able to drop a 30,000 pound penetrator weapon from the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
On April 28, an Air Force team, a Northrop Grumman-led aircraft contractor team and a Boeing-led weapon contractor team verified that the equipment required to integrate the new Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) on the B-2 -- the hardware that holds the MOP inside the weapons bay, the weapon itself, and the hardware used by the aircrew to command and release the weapon -- will fit together properly inside the aircraft.

But would we ever use it?

Why oh why isn't there an agreement yet? Our dear leader and Imadingbat have so much in common -- being muslims, egos larger than the state of Texas, only lying when their lips are moving, fond of thugs, creative electioneering, and wanting our troops out of the Middle East.

Their main difference -- one wears a tie.
