I had a look at the photograph. Tapper and his source are incorrect because what took place between Nixon and the emperor of Japan was mutual. Having read about what one of the wounded soldiers stated about the actual Obama visit, it would have been better if he had stayed away. The young soldier mentioned the way that Obama seemed like a robot... no warmth of feelings. How different with Bush who held the hands of the soldiers, whilst both he and Laura spent a long time with the wounded soldiers. Nope, the bow wins hands down. It was a breach of protocol.
