The campaign should have known that things weren’t going to be easy when the press sent 30 reporters to Alaska, to dig up dirt versus none to Chicago to dig up dirt. Sort of fills you in as to where the media was during the election.

Obama’s campaign has admitted they controlled the media where the McCain campaign (so used to the previously fawning media he got) believed they’d get the same treatment. They should have known, when Charlie started looking distainfully over the rims of his glasses at Sarah, things were going to be tough.

So, whether she’s right or wrong, the campaign strategy was obviously not worth the paper it wasn’t written on. For the McCain campaign crew to insinuate they had a clue is just a joke.

But the score-settling by someone who wants to be considered a serious national player is petty and pathetic.

Um, dude. You guys ran an incompetent campaign, and the only reason why you didn’t get blown out is her.

Personally I don’t believe the McCain Campaign. While it may be true they consulted her before hand, I have a feeling Nicole Wallace did her best to sell Palin on Couric as her first/second interview.

I mean everybody knows Couric was in the toilet after she left the Today’s show. Nobody took her remotely serious. In fact she only got the recognition after her Palin interview. And she rode that wave as far as it would take her. And now, well at least until the book came out, no one paid attention to Couric-again. She got an award for her Palin interview and it was far from a hard hitting interview or investigation. Granted Plain screwed up on one question, but after reading the transcript, you can tell they did their best to paint her in a bad light. There was plenty of better footage they choose not to use. So Couric got her accolades from making Palin look bad and nothing more than that.

Eh. Maybe after the book, it’ll start back up again. Couric will get some more attention and another award.

Does Ann treat her clients (or students) this way ? Are they all “dumb” as well ?
