Wow! Talk about a third rail…
Didn’t Reid just keep bringing this to the floor, 5 or six times and we were calling it the “bill that wouldn’t die!”
We sent them bricks and screamed into their telephones, crashed their email servers more than once, and they still can’t hear us.
I propose we build a fence around congress, and backfill it with concrete.
Seriouly, what do we have to do? Walk in the front door with hammers?
They can’t stop us all, they can’t stop part of us, how ’bout a million of us just plan a T-party in the capital building, occupy the building for say, five years…
Hold a local vote, and replace them all, not constitutional you say. THEY DON’T CARE, WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE. I’m tired of playing nice.

The democraps have to have the illegals here in order to win.
I worked the polls here in AZ., the amount of people that registered and voted on the same day was more than the people listed in the registry.
They had to fill out provisional ballots and you can’t tell me that all those ballots were checked before results were given out NO WAY.
Had one woman with 2 current DL.s, 2 different addresses 2 different districts, answer she had lost her DL before moving and found it later.
We need stiffer voting requirements.

My guess is that your relatives became Americans and that you don’t live in California. Open borders then is not like open borders now.
Legal immigration is good, but even there we need to get back to the melting pot concept, which worked so well but which has been abandoned as a central part of the leftist takeover of our great country.

I live in Culver City, California — the Heart of Screenland.

I’m all for the melting pot, but if some people insist on preventing certain ingredients from adding themselves, it ain’t gonna happen. If I were here illegally, I’d be pretty insular too — especially if the alternative was to be grabbed off the street and sent back to wherever I escaped from.

Even in this era of 11%+ unemployment, the faces out by the driveway of the Home Depot haven’t changed a bit. And we Americans still hire them to do our dirtiest work. If these people are stealing jobs from Americans, it’s not visible.

I’ve told this story several times — need to build fence between my house and neighbor’s. Neighbor and I agree to do it on a Saturday. I call my family to come, and on Saturday I have myself and four others. My neighbor shows up with a Mexican laborer he got from the front of Home Depot. He pays him $20 for the day and disappears into his house; I’m reminded of the Civil War, when you could pay someone else to take your place. The guy looks at least 60 years old but he works like a machine. We have to grab his shovel to make him break for lunch.

His work ethic impressed me, far more than the work ethic of my neighbor. If I had to choose between the two with respect to expected contribution to our society, I’d choose the Mexican guy, just as I’d choose the guy paid to go to war over the guy who paid him.

I believe this is a good way to split up Republicans – Our two-faced senator Cornyn said a few months ago that he was hoping this would come up again, (and he wasn’t referring to defeating it), and Kay Bailey – well she sides with big business -(and these are TEXAS senators) and don’t forget the Chamber of Commerce is all for this. I for one do not want this to rear its ugly head once more, for I am still recovering from phoning, e-mailing, faxing, protesting Obamacare –but that is what they are hoping for- – - – wrong. My family and I will do everything within our power (once again) to defeat this legislation, and I know most of you will do the same.
