If a poll were taken of all living former US Attorney Generals regarding this Obama decision, who among them all would defend the worst judicial decision any POTUS to date has determined?

BTW, that C-SPAN program was followed by the Canadian Supreme Court trashing the US while arguing their 9/11 Muslim citizen terrorist’s request/demand to be returned to Canada.

The Canadian Justices raked their government’s attorney over the coals repeating the same line of questioning to get the same answers over and over and over. I lost patience.

When I returned, the terrorist’s defense attorney submitted a report that the judges determined inapplicable for the present proceeding since the attorney could not give any synopsis as to its content, if any new material was being introduced. Yet they allowed this “report” to be the attorney’s ludicrous argument as substantiating proof of what he had no substance to claim.

Where the Canadian justices had been repudiating the government’s attorney whose argument was succinctly in form with their Constitution as he expounded, they bent over backwards to not berate the defendant’s attorney whose argument was based upon his “report” submitted which he himself could neither outline nor defend, merely regurgitate that its contents proved XYZ without doubt.

His running away from this thread would indicate that he does indeed know the concept of shame.

It’s true he knows shame, but not like you or me.

The little boy got caught with his hand in the cookie jar again, pulled it out while denying it was ever there, then apologized when we pulled out the video of it being there, and then stuck his tongue at us while saying that he never had his hand in the jar in the first place after we turned the tape off.

You must be irony-immune. “Thinking for yourself” means considering the issue on its merits, and thinking about the benefits and consequences. “I’ll trust Obama” is a statement that requires zero thought.

Obama will take it from every side if it looks like the trial’s being delayed for political reasons.

Given the fact that there’s zero chance of KSM going free, what’s the point of having a trial?

Is there no scenario in which a judge might be forced to let him walk? Agreed it’s doubtful, but still…

No word yet from the Cheneys. They must be brewing something sweet.
