Wow... what a profound sixth-grader.

(Or, maybe *that’s* the line that proves the entire story is just a lie…)

Like daddy, like daughter... always someone else's fault.

With an approval rating like Barry's, I wonder if it's a good idea to anger the teachers' unions with these kinds of comments. Yet another unintentional acknowledgment of how poor the performance is in unionized jobs.

Yeesh! He lies, and lies, and lies, and now this. Way to go dad. Don't be expecting any Dad of the year awards anytime soon. Idiot!

No one opposes BHO's crappola more than me, Ed, but you're misreading this. This is a dad bragging about his daughter overcoming her obstacles. And encouraging others to help their kids do the same. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't know. I watched this apparently in a vaccuum and didn't see anything wrong with it. In fact, I think his message about getting parents engaged in their kids education is an excellent one. I know that sounds like common sense to many of us, but as someone who has a bit of exposure to education (I don't work in the field), this is a real issue for kids in lower income families -- I hope his words reach their ears.

Yeah so he talked about his daughter's test score -- so what? It's hardly tabloid material.

Well, now we know why Democrats don't know anything about science. Do you think for one moment that many of them have even taken a science class? Have any of them ever exhibited any proficiency in science? Do any of them have a rudimentery knowledge of science? Probably not.

And no, I don’t think that one line in one speech was an egregious (look it up) mistake.

Bleeds Tard on November 12, 2009 at 10:05 AM

Now see, that wasn't so hard now, was it little one?

I do find it interesting, however, that you don't think Obama sending out Eric "bagboy for bribes" Holder, to Chicago strong arm that DC councilman, who wants nothing more than the child appearing with him, to get the same quality of education that your corrupt president's own children get, is germane (look it up, along with tard) to the topic?

Maybe you just might enjoy the irony of a president, too much of a coward to release his own grades, hiding behind the mediocre grades of a child?

Or maybe, you can just aim a little higher, than corrupt Chicago machine trash, the next time you step into a voting booth. It would save you much time, always having to write, and whine about what others say of your Sugar Daddy in Chief.

Doesn't matter what you buy. The fact is that Obama used his child for political purposes.
You can try to change the subject all you want, but that fact remains. Hate it for ya!

Good enough to get you wetting your “O” branded Huggies at the thought of staying on topic.

On topic? Like your Eric Holder link?

Tell me, little tardlett. Is speaking English as a second language, supposed to be an insult in your world? When reaching into my back of insults, I just can’t seem to get myself excited about something along the lines of, “Oh ya, well you speak Spanish!”

Some of my best friends speak English as a second language. All of my best friends speak it better than you write it.

So are you going to man up, for one in your pathetic little life, and address using your childs mediocre grades, to score political points among the tards?

MNHawk on November 12, 2009 at 9:41 AM

"'Tards?" I thought once Sarah came to national prominence, you people might find a different insult.

And no, I don't think that one line in one speech was an egregious (look it up) mistake.

Where do you get that Sarah Palin “pushed” her daughter to go on the national stage?
Perhaps Bristol is just as independent thinking as her parents are. She mainly wanted to get the point across to young women NOT to have sex because of the consequences.
Maybe Bristol liked the idea of getting paid by People Magazine. She is, after all, raising a child by herself.
You say Sarah Palin ‘pushed’ her onto the public scene. I think you are a Liar.

Obama absolutely pushed his very YOUNG daughter into the spotlight, for POLITICAL purposes.
Nice try, but No Cigar. Quit reaching and admit you’re wrong.

“‘Tards?” I thought once Sarah came to national prominence, you people might find a different insult.

And no, I don’t think that one line in one speech was an egregious (look it up) mistake.

I don’t buy any of that for a minute.

... not to use your child’s shortfalls as ways to score political points.

Hey, Barry, if you want the best for your girls, send them to school in Cuba or Venezuela... or a public school in Washington, DC.

Obama tells one brief story with a happy ending in one speech. Palin pushes a daughter and new mother who’s dealing with challenges too numerous to name — including a jerk boyfriend — onto the national stage with her baby, so that Sarah can look all supportive mom-y and pro-life.

I’m sure Bristol woke up one morning after four hours of interrupted sleep and said — “gee mom, how about a media tour and new gig pretending to be pro-abstience for a company that markets garish clothes to tweens.”

Malia:

Daddy, what's this liberty thing that the founding fathers were always talking about? Why don't you ever talk about that in your speeches?

Barry Hussein:

They were evil slave owners. Don't pay that any mind.

Maybe the kid should be learning all of the topic being studied, rather than only studying for the test. In the real world, you have to solve the problem which exists and not the problems which the teacher invented.

Speaking of test scores, how did you do on that “English as a second language exam?”

Bleeds Tard on November 12, 2009 at 9:30 AM

Good enough to get you wetting your "O" branded Huggies at the thought of staying on topic.

Tell me, little tardlett. Is speaking English as a second language, supposed to be an insult in your world? When reaching into my back of insults, I just can't seem to get myself excited about something along the lines of, "Oh ya, well you speak Spanish!"

So are you going to man up, for one in your pathetic little life, and address using your childs mediocre grades, to score political points among the tards?
