Confirmed: Hasan had abbreviation for “Soldier of Allah” on … his business card
posted at 4:52 pm on November 12, 2009 by Allahpundit
Breaking news from ABC and WaPo, in case you missed it on the boss’s site, er, three days ago. The guy actually advertised his jihadbot tendencies as part of his professional identity.
All that’s missing by way of red flags at this point is a Bin Laden tattoo on his ass. Maybe the papers are saving that for tomorrow.
The cards make no mention of his military affiliation, but underneath his name he listed himself as SoA (SWT). SoA is commonly used on jihadist Web sites as the acronym for Soldier of Allah, according to investigators and experts who have studied such sites. SWT is commonly used by Muslims as an acronym for Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, Glory to God.
“He was making no secret of allegiances,” said former FBI agent Brad Garrett, an ABC News consultant…
U.S. officials and analysts told ABCNews.com today that Hasan used multiple e-mail addresses and screen names as he contacted several jihadist web sites around the world.
In addition to his contacts with suspected al Qaeda recruiter Anwar al Awlaki in Yemen, authorities said there is evidence he contacted other radical sites and individuals, including some in Europe.
Remember, the feds’ excuse for not hauling him in after he contacted Aulaqi was that their exchanges dealt with basic Islamic subjects, not anything jihad-oriented. Question: How many jihadist websites are you allowed to contact — using multiple e-mail accounts, no less, presumably to conceal your identity — before that benefit of the doubt disintegrates? Does having “soldier of Allah” on your business card factor at all into the equation?
He’s staring at 13 counts of murder as of this afternoon, meanwhile. Which is one count fewer than what it should be.

Is this like the “how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?” question…?
For crying out loud, if you hit your wife once, you’re a spouse abuser. If you leave the kids in the car when you pay for gas inside, you’re charged with child endangerment. If you get caught peeing in public, its public indecency AND may force you to register as a sex offender. BUT, you visit one…maybe two…. maybe send 20 + emails to Al Qaeda looking to get their Ramadan Catalog for a new set of man jammies and –NOPE—not worth looking into…
Priceless.

This is a calculated turn of events. A message is being sent (brilliantly, I might add) to Muslims everywhere:
“See…you can kill Americans by the score, and we will not say it was an act of devotion to Islam.”
From this, the Muslims will be slowly conditioned to learn that we truly love them, and have deep understanding and respect for their religious practices.
The strategy is based on an assumption that America is not completely destroyed before Muslims get the message.

Oh, but political correctness says, “don’t jump to conclusions”, “we do not want to offend any muslums”. What about the American people being offended? Guess that does not matter any more. Us poor, little Americans, we are so clueless! NOT! Hey Obama, I do not have to jump to conclusions, I already know what it is – it is a terrorist act. Get those blinders and ear plugs out now and pay attention to what is really going on in this county! If our government does not start taking some action, the American people will! I AM SICK OF THIS CRAP! Gutless worthless administration!
txstar on November 12, 2009 at 5:29 PM
What Obama has yet to realize is that his cover-up is simply digging himself deeper and deeper into trouble.
Nixon simply tried to cover up something he had no knowledge of until after the fact, and was too embarrassed to admit what had happened, the political expose break-in to collect proof that the Democrat Party officially hired prostitutes for their convention. Rather than smear the Democrats, the goons ruined Nixon and the Republican character. Nixon’s Quaker guilt trip led him to resign rather than face further humiliation, having told everyone to cover up the mess he never asked for, and ultimately lying under oath to hide his shame. America was no longer at war in Vietnam because Nixon had ended our involvement there. We were finally enjoying “peace in our time”. Yet the cover-up blew so out of proportion, the Democrats turned a hotel name into the only historical reference point that public education teaches about political crime.
Obama is not simply attacking the Republican Party or conservative Americans. Obama has attacked the entire US Military by stroking Hasan like a pet Marxist experiment.
Obama is mutilating our military during a time of war and immense conflict. His domestic policy is enough to kill us all. His international policies will kill us all. Obama has no conscience that would prick him with a sense of shame or guilt. He was born a Marxist, the one thing he has never diverted from throughout his life, immersing himself in the effort to CHANGE America out of a Constitutional Republic into an authoritarian Marxist state in which citizens are no more than slaves.
maverick muse on November 12, 2009 at 5:32 PM
Wouldn’t work. He’s in the military and they try their own. No basis for moving to civilian court. If a member of the military commits a crime against a civilian, it still stays in the military system.

You know what I have after my name on my business card? “Esq.” Because I’m a lawyer. And when I became a lawyer, I had to take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. I was proud to take that oath.
I guess it means more to some than to others.
Byzantine on November 12, 2009 at 5:33 PM
The 13 counts of premeditated murder (ignoring the unborn child that Obama referenced as simply a pregnancy of a soldier looking forward to motherhood) do not account for all the others shot and wounded that were premeditated attempted murders.

I think you may have hit on something here.
What if for every one of the twenty or so terrorist attacks we experience in the next twelve months, we refuse to categorize them as terrorist attacks. We say something like; “Well, he/she was simply going about his/her normal daily routine when pretty much without warning, he/she slipped on his/her humus and the gun accidently discharged 63 times before he/she could get it under control – an unfortunate accident to be sure – but no terrorism here.”
No matter how the terrorists frustratingly ratchet up the violence, we simply state in profoundly ridiculous terms how it was due to an accident or basic incompetence – thereby denying the attackers any hope for jihad props.
They’d get discouraged and go attack the Spaniards.

I must say, I’m uncomfortable with this frenzy to connect Hasan with Islam. What the man did and the choices he alone is responsible for. The unspoken insinuation that it’s morally wrong to put God before country…that’s something I won’t accept. Don’t forget that this country was founded by those who would not accept this precept. I agree with Maggie Gallagher at NRO: I’m “the King’s good servant, but God’s first.” To demand absolute loyalty to the state is Fascism.

Think about this for a second:
This POS kills a baker’s dozen of our finest and will eventually winds up in a Federal prison, even though he did all but contact the New York Times to tell them what he was about to do.
I, in an act of civil disobedience, refuse to purchase health care insurance that I believe is being foisted upon me unconstitutionally and wind up being sentenced to the same prison.
One of us will wind up calling the other ‘sweetums’
That should tell you all you need to know about how screwed up this country is becoming.
Indeed, 2012 cannot come soon enough.

And how many counts of attempted murder?
redshirt on November 12, 2009 at 6:03 PM
Murder (Article 118, UCMJ). The UCMJ makes punishable the unlawful killing of anotherhuman being without justification or excuse when the accused:- Has a premeditated design to kill;- Intends to kill or inflict great bodily harm;- Is engaged in an act which is inherently dangerous to another and displays a wantondisregard of human life; or- Is engaged in the perpetration or attempted perpetration of burglary, sodomy, rape, robbery,or aggravated arson. This statute establishes four types of murder. We do not refer to the “first degree” or othermurders by “degree” in the military. Article 118, then, forbids four types of unlawful killing:premeditated murder, intentional murder, wanton murder, and felony murder. Premeditated murder andfelony murder are known as “capital offenses” because the death penalty may be imposed if “specialcircumstances” of Rules for Court Martial/004 are present.1. Premeditated murder, Article 118(1), UCMJ. This offense consists of four elements:a. That a certain named or described person is dead;b. That the act resulted from the act or omission of the accused;c. That the killing was unlawful; andd. That, at the time of the killing, the accused had a premeditated design to kill.A murder is not premeditated unless the thought of the killing was consciously conceived, and the act or omission by which the life was taken was intentional. Premeditated murder occurs afterthe accused forms a specific intent to kill someone and considers the killing. U.S. v. Vida, 26 MJ 822(ACMR 1988). It is not necessary that the intention to kill had been entertained for any particular orconsiderable length of time. Part IV, MCM 1984, para 43(c)

And who systematically murdered six million Jews in Europe? The guilty were those living in Martin Luther’s Germany. Seriously, I don’t want to argue the libtards’ position. I just think conservative protestants should remember that it wasn’t too long ago that the loyalty of those not belonging to your sects were questioned. The way this discussion concerning Hasan is going disturbs people like me, who’re aware of the religious persecution in times not so bygone.
