I don't mean to sound picky but there is no such thing as reverse racism.
A racist is a racist-regardless of what shade they are.

The undocumented president once claimed “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for”?

Kinda sorta like the guy who goes on a journey to find himself, and one day looks in a mirror and there he is!

Imagine that.

On the other side, we’ve had plenty of people on this site call for the extermination of Muslims.
Oh… and I’ve *NEVER* said such a thing, heard such a thing or read a comment endorsing such a thing… you’ve seen people calling for the “extermination” of Muslims?

I dare say that’s not just an exaggeration, but an outright lie.

jana on November 11, 2009 at 10:30 AM

The other night late at night there were some who were calling for interment camps and talking about taking out 1000 or so for execution as an example... Just thought you should know.

It was pretty unseemly. Of course it was just venting over the killings at Fort Hood. But still. I was appalled by it. And I tried to say so.

When the majority of muslims denounce terrorist child bombings, retarded kids wearing explosive vests in Israel, indescriminate bus bombings, American muslim extremists on killing sprees on American military bases. When muslims praise America for freeing 50 million muslims from oppression by dictators, offer thanks to America for helping more muslim countries in the world with food, medicine and mosquito nets to prevent malaria than any country on the planet….

dthorny on November 11, 2009 at 9:53 AM

Maybe not worldwide, but in America, polling has shown that the vast majority of Muslims do oppose terrorism, though the minority that support it is a real danger.

As for humanitarian aid to Muslims, I suspect that to the extent that they are aware of it, they are grateful. But a lot of people aren't aware, because the media hates reporting these kinds of things (especially under Bush. Now that Jesus is President, perhaps this will change - I mean Change (TM)).

As for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, opposing them is wrong-headed, but not really an indication of disloyalty - a lot of people can be irrational when war is concerned, mostly because war is hell.

I'm opposed to shills like CAIR that claim to oppose terror falsely, but there are a lot of Muslims that just want to be left alone so they can pray to Mecca five times a day or whatever, and its not fair to lump them in with terrorist sympathizers. They could be more vocal sometimes, but since terrorists especially love to target Muslims who speak out, I think you can attribute some of that silence to fear, not disloyalty.

I am working on a new angle with liberals I know. Separating Obama from the Democrats. Even suggesting that they are his enemy. I’v already got one raging liberal to switch to opposing the Health Care bill, and Pilosi.

You MUST share you tactics and line of reasoning. I'd love to try it out on some of the wobbly Liberals I know. Thx!

What do you suppose the odds are that Barack Obama actually intended to endorse Avi Lieberman’s positions on Israeli-Palestinian relations? Probably a lot higher than the odds that he had no idea who or what Israel’s Lieberman is.

Um... you mean lower?

The Cubbies were redeemed for the Brock/Broglio trade with the Ivan DeJesus/Larry Bowa trade in 1982. As part of the deal, Cubs GM insisted that the Phillies throw in a little known third baseman named Ryne Sandberg. Ryno was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005.

How about Palin and a heavy-hitting minor leaguer (Rubio?).

Obama isn't losing weight. His skin is just getting wafer thin.

This is further evidence that our president is Nixonian and thinks in terms of them vs. us. Lieberman's honest disagreement with him bugs Obama so much that he referenced it in the form of an awkward internaional "joke."

This could end very badly.

It usually takes getting screwed by a crooked hoodlum to make someone leary of trading. I do believe the American people are burnt. That's why Rahm Emmanuel takes his deals to the backroom of congress and not the American people. The people are smarter than Congress or backroom dealing politicians. When will you left wing idiots figure that one out?

On the other side, we’ve had plenty of people on this site call for the extermination of Muslims.

Oh... and I've *NEVER* said such a thing, heard such a thing or read a comment endorsing such a thing... you've seen people calling for the "extermination" of Muslims?

I dare say that's not just an exaggeration, but an outright lie.
