How many times willwe listen that it’s “for the children” as we blow BILLIONS to provide ever more inferior education? Or pour BILLIONS more into welfare programs to “alleviate the suffering of the poor” as their plight only increases? There is an article out just today illustrating how hospital services are still not being provided for the victims (in more ways than one) of Katrina due to the politically affluent gaming the system to bilk us for even greater sums of money for their own gain!

At some point we have to react to the situation as it really is, what is your normal reaction to outright theft of you, your children and your grand-children?

Forever is it the case that when the failure of progressive programs come to the fore, the only “cure” they can proscribe is to broaden the scope of those that’ll have suffer under it! If they cannot get you to go along willingly, that will attempt to force you intotheir sinking ship, misery loves company! Or as Andy Stern famously quipped, “if the power of persuasion doesn’t, he uses the persuasion of power!”

I’ll never tire of pointing out the proclivity for tyranny of the progressives as countenanced by our first progressive president, Woodrow Wilson— “Conformity will be the only virtue and any man who refuses to conform will have to pay the penalty.” Basrack and his merry band of progressives are of the very same mold, as is implicit in their threat of 5yrs imprisonment if you don’t comply their malignant schemes.

Those that choose to remain ignorant of the perils we face only serve to further aims of their future masters.

I have a spreadsheet showing exactly where these funds went. This was prepared immediately after it was passed and the funds were allocated. MOST of it was for the creation of additional government expansion at many levels. A lot of it was for “art”, some for Nancy’s mouse, tons went to just plain old crap.

If anyone wants a copy of this monstrosity let me know…
