<blockquote>Don’t be so sure. Remember who you’re dealing with. The same folks that thought Scozz was a great candidate.</blockquote>

There was no primary, so it was only the republican establishment that acknowledged her as a candidate, not republican voters-- you know, the ones that actually matter in a general election.

Even I, a registered Republican, am tired of this see-saw where the fat kid (Democrats) only gets fatter as he sits there eating his Great Society sandwich and the skinny kid gets replaced by an even skinnier kid (RINOs).

Nothing will change unless hardcore conservatives get in there and start taking out the Socialist trash.

The dumbass Dems, through their big governemnt policies, big governemnt solutions and Big government regulation are hell bent upon strangling the goose that lays the golden eggs.

The goose that drives the economy and provides jobs, tax reciepts, goods and services, and exports is slowly at times and rapidly at others being strangled by the Dims, and the Republican or Independent that can step into the breech in 2010 and in 2012 and articulate this, will win the day and bring us back, with the help of the American people, from the brink of destruction.

John McCain could have stopped this when he had the microphone for the taking, when he suspended his pathetic campaign, he could have stood loud and proud for capitalism, free enterprise solutions to a Government caused problem, but alas John McCain was too stupid and too inarticulate...

His running mate wasn't and isn't...
Run Sarah run! Palin/Cheney 2012

<blockquote>You know, <strike>saved the banking system, got the economy growing again, reinforced the troops in Afghanistan, extending health care to more kids, helping women fight against pay discrimination, saving the car industry.</strike> taking over the banking system, screwing up a stimulus resulting in unnecessary job loss, lying about jobs created/saved, dithering about a decision regarding troop levels in Afghanistan resulting in record numbers of troops being killed, enriching lawyers with more money from lawsuits, taking over the healthcare industry, destroying the car industry, generally behaving like a bunch of thugs, crooks and incompetents, disrespecting freedom of speech and states' rights among other violations of the Constitution, moving the country toward socialism with bribes and threats to Congressmen, and otherwise consolidating power. And it’s only been ten months!

I think in a couple of months, if the Repubs are smart, they would introduce legislation to extend the Bush tax cuts(they already were going to do this right?...please say yes)
and get everybody on record where they stand on the improving economy.

Maybe you should look at the Communist Party USA platform of goals they have set to push for in The United States. If you can not find theirs, look for Obama's. They are nearly identical anyway. If you agree with them and find comfort in the fact that almost every person that had an influence on Obama from the time he was born was either socilist or communist, then you need to rush over to the communist party web site and request you membership in their party. They will let you keep your Democratic party registration. I would suggest joining the New Party, which was the socilist party that Obama was assiciated with, but they merged with the Democratic party.

Maybe if your are a good boy you can be there when Obama throws his clenched fist into the air and shouts out "I WON!! FRANK! WE DID IT! on the steps of the Capital Building.

Once that is done he probably will push through with the promise that his cousin in Kenya made to the Muslims while running for the presidency of Kenya. Obama was there campaigning with him so he obvioulsy agreed with it. The promise made was that the muslims would only be governed by shia law and that Muslims would have oversight of all the christian churches in the country. His cousin lost but after sending his goons (worse than the union guys) to kill and destroy. The government created the position of Prime minister for him so that he would stop.

You might notice that the last place you will find Obama now days is in a christian church. He seems to have a fondness for Iran, a dislike for Israel, and a problem sending more troops to fight the Muslim Taliban in Afghanistan. Sounds a lot like someone else that has been in the news lately, one that Obama has been a bit quite about.

You might want to become familiar with the Koran and brush up on Mao and the current communist party of China. Those seem to have some favor among his advising staff and Czars.
Watch the videos of Obama bowing to the Saudi King; Keeper of the two Mosques. Obama will be impressed that you know how to do right if you ever have a chance to meet him.

<blockquote>Actually, the Whigs are an interesting example. The Democrats were pro-slavery. The Whigs were too focused on having a big tent to be specifically anti-slavery though. The Republicans, ‘evil moralists’ that they were, then gained major party stature as the anti-slavery electorate gravitated to them.

So in 2008 the Democrats favor, if not slavery, serfdom for the electorate. Are the Republicans going to act like the Whigs and refuse to take a stand on the important issue of the day…or are they going to emulate their ancestors and fight for the rights of all Americans?

You are right. That is the choice. Freedom or Slavery to the government.

Live free or die! Give me liberty or give me death! Those are still the choices.

Big government is death to liberty.

I find it very frustrating that Obama remains above 50%!

How can that be true?

It has been 51-52% forever, yet if you look at each poll over a month he has trended down in approval and up in disapproval. Yet the average stays the same. That just doesn't make sense to me.

<blockquote>I think that’s democracy in action. I donated to Hoffman, and am going to bypass the RNC hereafter. Is there a website or something somewhere that you look at to see who is who in the zoo with respect to candidates?

I watch Fox News and frequent conservative websites. The important races are usually covered. I donated to Hoffman as well.

I think there is room here for a Conservative Party that mostly exists to help conservative major party candidates in this sort of fashion.

I've argued for some time that a similar "party" would make far more sense for libertarians then the current destructive and idiotic Libertarian Party.

<blockquote>I donate directly to the candidates of my choice. We need to starve the RNC until they see the light. If they don’t, oh well.

<blockquote>You know, saved the banking system, got the economy growing again, reinforced the troops in Afghanistan, extending health care to more kids, helping women fight against pay discrimination, saving the car industry. And it’s only been ten months!

Stealing America's wealth. Spending billions that isn't accounted for. Didn't save one damn job. Over taking the private sector. Violating the Constitution. Indecisive. Devisive. Incompetent. Inept. Cold. Emotionless. Lying. Shall we go on, or just ask you this. How much kool aid did you consume?????

When someone gives you back some of your hard earned money, you shouldn't forget. When they take it away??

You’re all going the way of the Whigs, race fans! Oh no wait, look at the poll. Never mind! Off to sniff some more paint! /simplesimon

</blockquote>

Actually, the Whigs are an interesting example. The Democrats were pro-slavery. The Whigs were too focused on having a big tent to be specifically anti-slavery though. The Republicans, 'evil moralists' that they were, then gained major party stature as the anti-slavery electorate gravitated to them.

So in 2008 the Democrats favor, if not slavery, serfdom for the electorate. Are the Republicans going to act like the Whigs and refuse to take a stand on the important issue of the day...or are they going to emulate their ancestors and fight for the rights of all Americans?

<blockquote>It’s easy to forget, since the media whined on and on that the rich were getting tax cuts, without ever mentioning the rest of the bill.

If the GOP does it's job in 2010 leading up to the elections, everybody should know about the expiring tax cuts. When did the GOP last " do it's job " you say. Can't answer that!
