Just a few more words. People need to learn that Islam was born out of violence and embraces it as its core. No resistance will be tolerated - only submission or conversion. Failure is rewarded with violence and it's all too frequently fatal. The western world is engaged in a fatal ignorance with respect to this religion. It no more of a religion than communism. Do your homework, folks.

The 9-11 hijackers didn't seem violent, either. Remember the video tapes? Oops! I just read the previous post. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

No word on what was in the e-mails. Cooking tips, maybe? Still, consider this progress. All it took for the jihad angle to be considered one possible factor in the shooting is this turd sending e-mails to Al Qaeda; maybe a video of him hanging out with Osama will surface and we can go ahead and nudge it towards “possible main factor.” As for Awlaki, I wrote about him this weekend but this bit from a U.S. counterterror official quoted in a WaPo story last year bears mentioning again: “There is good reason to believe Anwar Aulaqi has been involved in very serious terrorist activities since leaving the United States, including plotting attacks against America and our allies.” If Awlaki was considered a “very serious” terrorist threat as of 2008, how can any e-mail sent to him by Hasan have not been cause for great concern? Even if the e-mails weren’t explicitly violent or threatening, the other red flags in Hasan’s file should have set off alarm bells about where this might lead. It’d be like a U.S. military officer sending telegrams to the German command during WWII. Whatever his reason is, it’s a bad reason.

Aren't you the same guy who got upset when Boston College cops got fierce with a man breaking down the front door of a house?

Aren't you the same guy who got upset when cops arrest a man for full frontal nudity at a window?

Aren't you the same guy who got upset when a kid who took a knife to school had the book thrown at him?

When have you ever supported the arrest and conviction of people for the crime of leading up to something really nasty?--and it's not that you 'appreciate bold and aggressive deterrence, but would like an acknowledgement that a reasonable and necessary preventive scheme inadvertantly caught a good guy'--no, you are mad as hell that police are getting pre-emptive.

This is exactly the sort of attitude you have demanded from the cops-- know everything, but do nothing until the perp's ACTIONS warrant it. Not intention, not behavior pattern matching a profile, not carrying out preliminary behavior necessary and usual in felons.

He's paralyzed, isn't he? He's already got his life sentence. Put him in the express line to the firing squad. Pick me.

Marxism hearts radical Islam.

Democrat priorities do not include fighting radical Islam.

Top priority is stealing money from working people and implementing Marxist utopia.

It's really that simple.

I think the punishment should be meted out as such.

Deploy him to Afghanistan.

Give him an AK-47.

Throw him out a plane and parachute him into the middle of a vast barren valley.

Implant a GPS tracker in his brain (that should have been done while in coma so he is not aware...).

Wait two weeks.

Send predators to GPS co-ords.

Rain down hell.

There is no proof than anyone is prone to violence until they commit violence. This mindset is responsible for these deaths and will be responsible for many more deaths as long as it is allowed to prevail. The obvious ignorance that resulted in this tragedy can be associated with the naivite' that is so prominent throughout this entire administration. Accountability for these misjustments must be enforced or the result will always be the same.

Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.
- General Casey

This is still bothering me. Can you imagine General Patton saying this?

Get the stripes off this guy, and get Hasan up before a firing squad, pronto!

In response to Hasan's jagoff lawyer's comments about his client not being able to get a fair trial, I got news for ya pal. That pig will get as fair a trial as any other member of the United State's armed forces accused of committing a criminal act. There's no way this should fall outside the military jurisdiction and accompanying UCMJ. I guarantee the trial will be a speedy one...at least much faster than a federal trial that will get bogged down in he courts. He needs to fry and the sooner the better.

Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.
- General Casey

This is absolutely moronic. Diversity is just an excuse, a cover for people who obsess about whether they themselves might be bigoted or racist, and who think have a wide varfiety of ethnicities around them, like trophies, means that they're not bigoted.

Instead of phoney baloney "diversity," such people should opt for a good shrink.

But in Hasan’s case, I’m assuming by now that he was not only psychopathic (and remains so) but that he’s likely found Islam a comfort and inspiration to rationalize his psychopathy.

In other words, he found the body of work that helped him advance his illness.

Man, they are going to use that to polish the lid on the memory hole and it will be BLINDEN SHINNNNIN!

If I were President, General Casey would have been fired on the spot for that remark. But I'm not, and you know who is.

If Obambi doesn't fire him, he should be impeached and removed from office. But he won't be.

These are dark days for the USA, and getting darker.

who is accused of shooting to death 13 people

ACCUSED? How is this "accused" its not like we don't have hundreds of people who saw it. This is the political correct BS that is destroying us.

As for the "Didn't seem violent" crap. Many people who are violent are violent that 1 time and thats it. I'm sure many of the 9/11 attackers seemed like nice peaceful guys, hell one of them lived above a friend and he use to make them cookies, but for that 1 moment he was violent and thats all he needed.

Lets start taking these threats as seriously as when they hall kids off to jail for playing cowboys and indians (or is it White Murderers and Native Americans now?)

It's not rocket science.

A combo of the krazy Koran.

And a heapin' helpin' of the Hadiths.

Mix thoroughly ...and kill.
