Quotes of the day

posted at 9:30 pm on November 8, 2009 by Allahpundit

“Mr. Obama, during his private pep talk to Democrats, recognized Mr. Owens election and then posed a question to the other lawmakers. According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, who supports the health care bill, the president asked, ‘Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit’ Democratic voters ‘and it will encourage the extremists.’”

***
“And, in fact, the new president and Congress had a real opportunity to divide the Republican Party. A moderate stimulus bill that offered a short-term boost and included a meaningful tax-cut component, for instance, might have won a very significant number of Republican votes in Congress last winter and launched a damaging internal GOP battle over the proper role of the opposition. Some restraint on taxes and spending in general, and on health care and energy policy in particular, would also have divided congressional Republicans and left the direction of the party in doubt.

“But Washington Democrats chose a different route. While they have been peddling the story of Republican self-immolation, they have actually been creating the conditions for a Republican resurgence. President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Majority Leader Reid have launched the country on a course of massive spending, a dramatic expansion of government, and a slew of new taxes in the midst of a recession. Finding themselves in control of Congress and the White House and so possessed of an unusual opportunity to pursue their ideological agenda, they have sought to make the most of it. But they have misjudged just how far to the left of the country as a whole the Democratic base now resides—and so, rather than strengthen their own brand, they have inadvertently done wonders to build and unify the Republican Party.”

***
“I’m trying to imagine the political environment that Washington Democrats occupy. A President glibly lays out that analogy, and it is received — without any wincing or taint of disgust — as awesome inspiration. These are the minds that will be making decisions for us for quite a while.”

Can’t you rememeber? Right wing vets were the terrorists to watch for.

This psycho psychiatrist guy is just misguided.

The One and the gang only see the “victims” or “wounded” which their myopic and warped, politicized PC goggles allow them to see.

Our Affirmative Action Hero in the White House came out of an academic system where I saw Vietnam combat vets left off lists for interviews for jobs. Some of them came up from the impoverished areas of the rust belt with alcoholic parents and a miserable childhood. And who was on the lists for interviews? Black sons of MDs who never had a job, any job except working at the school.

We have victims we love (protected classes for you law enthusiasts) and the rest are second class citizens.

You are just now figuring this out?

The Strange Case of Professor Obama and Herr Hussein is a real life drama playing out in the aftermath of the Presidential election of 2008. It is about the dilemma of the American citizen who sees strange dissonances between the new found Messiah, Professor Obama, and the ever more emerging angry, paranoid, misanthropic, pyromaniac (reference note #1) Herr Hussein. It is a vivid portrayal of a split personality, split in the sense that within the same person there is both a fading apparently good and an ever more emerging and dominate evil personality each being quite distinct from the other. In mainstream culture the very phrase “Obama and Hussien” will come to mean a person who’s public words are vastly different in moral character from his private words and his actions.

Reference note #1: Such individuals who lack ulterior motive have traditionally been referred to in layman’s terms simply as a variation of a pyromaniac. Most such maniacs lack conscious motivation although they are fully aware of the acts they are failing to stop or they themselves are committing. Typically they will feel intense pleasure, gratification, or relief when causing destruction or when witnessing or participating in the aftermath. Motivation is also classified as pathological and non-pathological. Some research suggests that feeling such joy at horrific situation is pathological. Other research suggests that some motivation for this comes from rational thought. Taking joy in horrific situations for envisioned gains in political power and/or the concealment of the imposition of devious plans are examples of supposed rational decision making.

In layman’s terms, Barack Obama is becoming more and more like a rabid dog.

1) Guarantees coverage to 96% of Americans: LIE
2) Cost: $1 trillion: LIE
3) Will not deny coverage to anyone: TRUE (I guess)

But they conveniently “forgot” the punitive part where they throw you in jail and/or hit you with a $250K fee.

Dear Leader Obama’s songbun system:

The population of Dear Leader Barack Obama’s developing Democratik People’s Republik of Amerika can be roughly divided into three tiers, and ones place in these tiers is called songbun (based on North Korea’s Dear Leader’s sonbun system). An individuals songbun is based on ones position at the time of Obama’s ascendancy from questionable circumstances of birth to presidential occupation. Kenyan Obama himself, his Klingon wife and party members, largely comprised of the capos of Rahm, Axelrod, Reid, Pelosi and the entire Kennedy Klan and their sub-capos, are the main elite. People, such as those who work at Goldman Sachs, who helped to bankrupt the nation while lining their own pockets are at the next level in the songbun hierarchy and often have high committee positions in congress or are appointed to cabinet and czar positions and other high offices. The lowest songbun group is comprised of an as yet to be determined number of distinct classes, each with lower songbun then the next. Conservative talk show hosts and bloggers, military and ex-military members, freedom
loving writers and people who still believe in Ayn Rand’s philosophy of individual rights or in the soon to be completely outdated U.S. Constitution and it’s guarantee of the right of free speech and assembly have the lowest songbun, and consequentially are to occupy a role analogous to India’s untouchables.

It is my belief as well that abortion has led us here under the dominion of Obama. No one ascends to power without the okay of the Lord. Yes, He allows us to fall under evil as a form of chastisement.

This wonderful country has been so greatly blessed and what have we done with those blessings? We have decided that our children are expendable possessions to be granted life or death according to our whim.

“It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.” Mother Theresa

I will fast this Friday and every Friday as atonement as I pray that the Lord will deliver us from this evil.

Ahem, Obamacare is ostensibly modeled on medi-care, medi-care’s record of “denial of service” exceeds all American insurance companies….combined!

That is the other great lie hawking to the great unwashed, thaqt all proceedures will be covered, i.e. no denials of treatment. When of course their program has intended rationing as well as the inherent rationing that comes with Dr’s quitting practice here, sw3amping of the system and the closure of hospitals for imbalance of services/reimbursements.

The Catholic Hospital System alone nearly accounts for 1/2 of all our hospital facilities and they have made it quite clear that abortion services are mandated they will close their operations. Poof! Just like that close to a 50% evaporation medical care in the blink of an eye.

The disaster the Obamacare will wreak on our nation is an utter clamity in the making. Then comes the Cap & Trade debacle and the immediate and draconian reduction of our GDP that’ll ensue.

If anyone is still unclear on the concept, Obama is pulling the lynch pins of the country, his intent is to hobble us and remove the nation from the world stage as a major power.

EXPEDITING EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS:

Put on old Army fatigues and stick a patch that you can download from the Internet onto the arm of your shirt.

When you go into the E.R., you will noticed that 3/4 of the people will get up and leave. They will decide that they really aren’t that sick after all. It will cut at least 3 hours off your waiting time.

It also works at DMV and the Laundromat – but don’t try it at Carl’s Junior or the whole staff will exit and you’ll never get your order.

Here’s the patch Feel free to use it the next time you’re in need of quicker emergency service.

Do you remember that series? I don’t know why, but Knucklehead got me thinking about it and I had this image of Barry in his toga as Little Boots, Caligula.

* really big shudders *

Also, the trolls here seem to have multiplied incredibly over the past few weeks without any assistance from me. I need to compile a new list and do some research on them. Yuck!

The only thing which matters is winning BIG in 2010. So ask Beck to STFU when he says let’s keep defeating the republicans or run a third party. If the guy is serious about third party, his ass needs to be kicked.

I’m wondering…is it actually legal for Mr. Barack Obama to solicit donations for his Organizing for America group while he is the sitting President of The United States of America?
There is so much wrong going on. Can We the People get a shout-out from our Supreme Court? Help us!!

I nominate you: Supreme Commander of Troll ConTroll

Here are my reasons.

1. You will work for peanuts. :)
2. You have an excellent memory; an Elephant never forgets.
3. You have a thick skin which protects you from their cooties.

It is a tough Job and someone has got to do it.

Hey for tomorrow you might check out Dick Morris’s article at NewsMax.

It is disgusting what is happening in America! Obama and Special interests!

If any of you still belong to the AARP time to change to the new one.

Truly truly disgusting corruption.

I think I’ve partially figured out something: Suburbs.

One of the reasons inner-city school districts in places like Chicago have deteriorated so far is because taxation and regulation tend to drive middle-class voters to move out of the district and into the suburbs. What’s left in the inner city are either those wealthy enough for private schooling or poor and dependent enough to see public schooling as free babysitting.

The voters likeliest to hold the schools accountable took themselves conveniently out of the jurisdiction, and now the bureaucrats can count their bribes in peace. Other political entities in the city can work much the same way. The voters most likely to try to hold city government accountable and fight the political machine generally will move to the suburbs. They would then be ineligible to vote against or run against the local political machine.

On a national level, you can’t chase out the voters you don’t want to deal with. If the Chicago mobsters running the government haven’t figured that out yet, they will know next year and two years after that!

There is nothing vaguely unique in this nothingness that is Obama. It boils down to skin color, pure and simple. How else, or who else in this country or world would put so much stock into a person of such a trivial nonsense of a background and intellect? Would not happen. Gazebo????
Grades and papers from his college days, that he is so very much ashamed of, he has to keep an army of lawyers to prevent the public from ever peeking. The upbringing and company he kept for decades? HE DID admit to cocaine use, but could not recall how long that bender lasted…months? years??

He is the sorriest of sorts, neither bright, nor street wise
enough to pretend or bully his way over the dumb ass that he is. That stupid.

3) Will not deny coverage to anyone: TRUE (I guess)

Very true. Pelosi and her cohorts in crime totally caved to the demands of the Hispanic caucus and made sure the bill that passed the House has no U.S. citizenship requirements at all.

Where’s Joe Wilson when you need him?

Words cannot express how despicable I find ObaMao.

Bill Bennett does a great job summarizing what is woefully wrong with a president of the US who fails to appear at the celebration of the collapse of the Berlin Wall to the forces of liberty and who rationalizes the behavior of the perpetrator of the Ft. Hood atrocity.

Good for Althouse (quote #3).

Look again. The medical professionalism America got from Hasan is what would be universally forced, without choice, from the Democrat PC Health Care. Eventually, we would have no choice to make educated and discriminating decisions as to whom WE want treating our personal and our national medical needs.

It isn’t simply coincidental, Hasan’s stateside Islamofascist sabotage execution of our US Military troops timed with the vote for US universal health care.

Hasan was bent on using the US Government as his means to kill and mentally torture as many Americans as possible. Wounded soldiers overstressed with combat fatigue were abused by Hasan who added to their mental stress, laying them with a guilt trip while they were at their most vulnerable state. It was his duty as a physician to FIRST DO NO HARM. But true to orthodox Muslim (not overly simplified “radical Muslim”) Koran duty, Hasan felt no moral conflict, no impediment lying and cheating and sabotaging his professional way through our military.

PC equates “discrimination” with “prejudice”. THINK AGAIN. The words do not equate. We all MUST discriminate in order to advance from ignorance. Be wise vs. be foolish.

PC is Death.

Hillary Care.
“Vast Right Wing Conspiracy”
Initiation of Congressional trend to terminate protocol, and dismiss all opposition that has become full blown today by Pelosi, Reid & Obama, denying opposition leadership invitations to conferences, denying opposition time on the House and Senate floor, denying committee members entry to chambers for discussions, locking doors, turning out the lights…
Federal Income Tax that alone took 1/3 from family of four, gross income of $24K, requiring blue collar families to BORROW in order to pay the $8,000. federal income tax.
Potus Impeachment for LYING UNDER OATH amounting to SQUAT.
Moral corruption left unchecked legally, promoted as “cool” by media.
Establishment of the very legislation that enabled Freddy & Fanny to bankrupt the nation and corrupt our entire banking system, destroying the dollar today.
Thieving documents from the National Archive to facilitate the revision of history and prevent judicial review.
