These troop figures were arrived at after careful deliberations with Al Qaeda and the Taliban. The training of jihadi and suicide bombers is an ongoing process and the Obama administration doesn’t want to cause this education program to fail.
This is all part of the Palestinian Assistance Package signed into law earlier this year at the White House.

This morning, McClatchy reports on an apparent trial balloon coming from the White House that Obama will split the difference between McChrystal’s medium- and high-risk options for troop support of a counterinsurgency strategy — but still won’t make a decision until after Obama takes a tour of Asia later this month:

35,000 maybe!, out of 80,000 requested for success, making it a medium to high risk operation. Running the war by trial balloon, Obama is putting our troops in danger. I’m very tempted to say 80,000 more or get out. Obama is setting this up to fail, and that will be counted in Solders life’s being loss for Obama’s political agenda. Only thing that interest Obama is how Karzai fixed the election.
I think he has to wait to see if it’s okay with China if we deploys more troops or not.
Okay so where not nation building, surly not a democracy, and we are not going into the mountains to behead the beast.
What the hell are we doing? I know,,, we are being targets.
We need clear objectives, which Obama has none.
Our troops are the best in the world, we should not waste them on Obama follies. The UN and World Bank need to step in and help develop the infrastructure, they could also supply the blue helmets to protect the workers.
Wait I ‘m confused I thought the plan was to stay in countryside, and keep out of cities, and now I’m hearing we will sip tea in Kabul. What did I miss? I say Give 80,000 and let the military fight the war. With Barry always micro-managing everything I think we have a serious problem. God Help US!!!

This is political triangulation at its worst. Pres. Obama is playing fast and loose with the lives of the men and women of the armed forces. He’s trying to appease both ends of the political spectrum: firstly to appease the right wing by sending troops at all and secondly to appease the left wing by not sending all of the troops for which McChrystal asked. This is a calculated move that shows a complete lack of appreciation for the sanctity of the lives of our soldiers.

Men and women who continue to volunteer to fight and die for our country pay every day because of it.

Here’s a wish: develop mini-nukes, just like the ones they used in Starship Troopers, and fire ‘em in the caves.

Again a war left over from a previous Admin’s policy, that the sitting President didn’t have the guts to fish or cut bait, and instead bungled his way into a spiraling bloodbath. Dereliction of Duty by then-Major H. R. McMaster should be required reading for all candidates to the Presidency, and all Officers of the service, if only to gain an appreciation of what NOT to do in managing small-scale conflicts – with current Af-Pak policy as a supporting case study.

Im sorry but sometimes you have to make a decision.
Now if that decision is bad – ok own up to it..

I had to do this on many occasions (but only with my job at stake) not soldiers lives ..

I just know three things
1. dithering or procrastinating does nothing to solve the situation and usually makes it worse

2. at some point you have to make a decision and then suffer the consequences

3. if it is wrong then you have to own up to it..

But there’s the rub..

The liberals want
all the glory
all the power
all the money and wealth

But they dont want to do what is necessary to gain such things..

They dont want to be servants so they just expect people will give them glory because of their start power (gag)..

The want the power but dont ever want to take responsiblity – again just like hollywood so called action heros (ALL FAKE) with nothing to back it up except hot air..

They want the wealth and riches but dont want to work hard or honestly for such wealth and instead to placate their guilt because of thier underserved riches they instead climb to power and then tax everyone elses wealth to give it to those who didnt earn it..

These people are all one and the same
Holly wood actors, liberals, activists, laywers whatever..

they all want you to worship them
But everyone knows not one of these liberals has done anything worthwhile to even be aknowledged for,

and you will be held responsible for it..

NEVER in recent history has there been an administration that has such disdain for our military.
Of course these are the spawn of the 60′s, the ones that spat on our soldiers returning from Viet Nam , snot nosed cowards that now infest our Whitehouse.
