On Friday (when this came out), I called the RNC and asked for Mr. Steele.
Couldn’t get him so I voiced my disdain for (the GOP leadership, in addition, that) endorsed S’noddafeva… rescinding my ‘membership’.
That was the Final Straw. While I’ve only contributed Once, I’ve been a registered Republican since I could vote.
The sad part? Only THIS year, with my donation, did I start receiving ‘Leadership Constituent Request Forms’ and an ‘Official’ Charter Membership Card.

If I were chairman, I’d find conservative challengers for these two before sunset and endorse Rubio against Crist in FL, and then announce it to the world.

It’s a no lose situation. None of these three can raise a dime for the party and, in fact, run contributors like me away from it.

If Steele did this, by Monday they’d have to hire 5 new people just to keep up with the money and answer the “Thank God” letters.

BTW, I heard Steele on Hannity. He sounded surprisingly good. If he would just do what he says then all would be well. Who knows?

You can “get” conservative only if you are uneducated in politics, realize your sins and accept the blessing; it is then an incurable dedication. The problem is our government education system. Youngsters come out “democratized”, a shell that is hard to crack. Steele has been around the block and is NOT going to change. You’ll hear his political presentations but he is what he is.

Careful with the ugly comments about Steele. If he does turn the corner and get conservative we could really use him. We have watched Rick Perry learn a lot in the last couple of years. I think a whole bunch of them learned something last week too and we need to allow them to get used to having a spine once it grows in.

And what does Steele have in mind when he says the RNC will come after fiscally liberal Republicans? Anything concrete or is it just more self-aggrandizing Steele braggadocio?

Michael Steele is only trying to save his job as RNC chairman. What he’s saying — it’s all smoke and mirrors to make grassroots believe he’s on their side — but he’s not. When will you people learn. This is the same guy who said a women had a right to abortion (a right to kill her kid) and that homosexuality is NOT a choice. I mean, this guy should NOT be leading the Republican Party. He is part of the problem, not the solution. If real conservatives wanna clean up the Party they should get rid of this two-faced phony and keep liberal saboteurs away from the RNC vetting process.
