ATTN: Allahpundit – hey I heard a PSA for the Copenhagen meeting over the radio on the internet. I don’t recall the station and rather from being done from the Ad Council, the PSA was from an international ad council or organization. It used the term Hopenhagen. I kid you not. It would make great audio, if you can find it. I couldn’t find it.

Looks like GWB whipped Gore on this as well. By refusing to drag the worlds largest economy into Kyoto, President Bush prevented what would have been a permanent installation of global warming governance on the world. Now that the earth is trending cooler they may never reach their collectivists goal of controlling the world economy thru control of energy production and distribution. We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to GWB.

Excuse me, but isn’t that as good as an admission that a climate treaty is about redistribution of wealth, since that’s what the left means anytime they talk about “justice”? (see: “economic justice”, “social justice” etc)

Does this mean we are all DOOMED?!

I mean such noted scientific experts as Al Gore and Prince Charles have said that if we don’t get a treaty by December 2009 then it will be too late to save the planet. So if we don’t get this absolutely essential only-this-can-save-the-world treaty now before it is too late, what is the point of coming back and trying to do it next year when it is already too late?

Is it possible – surely not – that all the urgency is more about redistribution of wealth (to people like Al Gore – not to poor third world countries) than about saving the planet? Just a question.
