Please add McNerny (D) California-11 to list of 2010 “in jeopardy” seats. This district went for Bush by 10 points in 2000 and 2004, Obama by only 10 in 2008.

He has a strong conservative opponent in 2010, a Lodi grape grower who is already within $100,000 of McNerny in fundraising.

For some reason he doesn’t show up on any of the call lists on any sites.

I did my part.

The wife and I showed up at our Commie Rep’s office at noon, along with about twenty-thirty other people. The phones were ringing off the hook, the crowd was taking turns venting, and the staffers looked like they were actually earning their pay as they told us that they “didn’t know” how the Commie will vote and that there were “many different views.” They “didn’t know” if the Rep and his family would be getting the same Health Care plan as the rest of us.

As I was leaving some loud SOB was telling them that they were going to lose their phoney-baloney jobs next year along with the Commie Rep. It feels so good to have dialogues like this with our public servants. Let’s do it again real soon.

UNDECIDED/REVIEWING BILL Keith Ellison (Minn.)

Ellison is undecided? No F-ing way. The guys the biggest socialist rep we have from Minnesota. He’s from a district whose largest employer is ACORN. He’s a definite yes and if he’s saying he’s undecided it’s only to keep the “Kill the Bill” citizens placated until they left DC.

Please help us kick Democrat Gene Taylor out of his Congressional seat in Mississippi-4.

Joe Tegerdine is as Conservative as Sarah Palin – if not more so. Nevertheless … Joe has raised only $9,000 vs Gene Taylor’s $200K.

But once we let everyone in Mississippi know that Gene Taylor voted for Nancy Pelosi for SOTH … he’s sunk.

The cost cutting and all is good… but someone needs to address the uninsured. There just has to be a solution to that. One that doesn’t tank the economy that is.

10.2 percent of people don’t have jobs.

17.7 percent is the e6 number, including those who have given up looking for a job, or are under employed (working part time when they were working full time).

Fix that first… you’ll go a long way to fixing the rest of it.

And while you’re at it, check out the republican plan, which actually goes a long way to… you know… reducing the costs of healthcare.

This may bore most of you but I have a little story to tell you. I am a retired federal employee. As such I have a federal insurance plan, This is open season whereby we get to review all of the plans available to us, detailing the services provided and its cost for 2010. My current insurance plan’s cost is going up a whopping forty percent. Instead of going along with this rip-off, I reviewed all of the other plans available. I not only found one at less than the rate I paid this year; it also provides more services. The point I am trying to make is that if the federal government allows competition among its insurers why does Congress not allow interstate competition? You might ask your congressman for an answer.

If we replace McHugh in NY-23 by Owens (D), that makes 35 Democrats to 4 Republicans whose seats are in danger. Which wouldn’t be enough to flip the House Republican.

But is that list complete? Rasmussen has the “generic House vote” at 42% R – 38% D, while it was 47% D – 41% R at Election Day 2008. Democrats have lost 9 points, Republicans have gained 1 point, and 8% more have become undecided. If the undecided eventually split between the parties, any Democrat that won last year by less than 10% could be in trouble.

While there may be a big difference between “generic Dem vs. generic GOP” and a contest between two named candidates, lots of Democrats who won with small margins could be VERY nervous right now about voting for FancyNancyCare…
