Paranoia may destroy ya.

The proof is on the video. This is not a one-time incident. 11 videos is a pattern. One video is a fluke. Two is somewhat of a fluke. Three is eh. ELEVEN on top of the other ones, all doing the same things, is a pattern.

Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.

Either it’s a widespread, coordinated attempt to indoctrinate kids or it’s just a tiny number of classroom teachers trying to get little kids to sing and maybe pay a little attention to something besides TV and video games.

Maybe the teachers can teach them about the dangers of DEBT and profligate spending.

They ARE paying attention to TV – and TV tells them that Barack Obama is god, is sovereign and that anybody who disagrees is a bigoted racist homophobe that wants to kill them. Then they go to school (more like church in this case) and learn of the great deeds, heroics and the songs about the Dear Leader. And you pretend it’s all good and call that “education.”

I suspect the latter. And I have no problem with a little kid being somewhat awestruck by any president, R or D. Let them learn a little idealism before they grow up to be cynical jerks like you and me.

I do have a problem with that. If this were Bush, you’d have a problem with it.

Presidents are just politicians and should not be elevated to mythical, God-like levels where they are “awed.” The kids should be taught critical thinking – such things as why tax increases hurt business and job growth, or why you can’t spend more than you take in without financial difficulty, or why each child has a right to individual freedom, property and the fruits of their eventual labor. Plus reading, writing and math.

Politicians are lying jackasses whose actions impede and hinder the lives of free, productive people. Shielding children from the truth does not help them, and urgining them to shed an uncritical eye on “untouchable” gods like Obama is a naked attempt to indoctrinate the kids into believing and normalizing a particular subset of political views.

That’s a waste of taxpayer money, a violation of the kids’ right to receive a quality education, and a violation of the trust that exists between a teacher and a pupil.

Documentation. Remember, 72,000 elementary schools so I’ll expect about 5 thousand examples before this alleged trend has any statistical significance.

We’d like to see any actual private sector jobs that have been created by Obama’s economic policies.

These are just the incidents caught on tape and posted.

Clinton would be a nice example of progressive government, sane fiscal policies and broad economic growth.

And you could explain how the GOP taking Congress controlled that Democrat spending so that growth could take place. But that’s “too hard” for little future Democrats drones to process, isn’t it? That whole “Congress initiates the spending” thing. It’s much easier to sing songs about Barack Obama MMMM MMMM MMMM and just call that “education.”

No wonder our kids get their clocks cleaned compared to schools that spend a fraction on education around the world (and private schools here in the US). They actually educate children with that limited money. Government-run schools? Not so much.

I’m also pretty sure that in the larger schedule of classroom and homework, the Obamasong part takes pretty tiny sliver. They’re probably mostly doing readin’, writn’ and ‘rithmatic

And writing essays about “what we can do to help the President” and write about “how you felt changed by Obama’s election” and “what can you do to be more like Obama.”

You guys are the ones who make Obama mythical.

I didn’t seen any songs praising GOP politicians in those videos. I DID see videos of children being taught to revere and worship a Democrat politician from the most corrupt city in America. No biggie.

Ignoring the fact that you’re now leveling criticisms at me personally and that you’ve essentially conceded the point that this is indeed inappropriate and creepy political indoctrination committed by Democrats in our government school system on innocent children at taxpayer expense, I don’t know if I fit into the mold of your “stereotypical Republican” cartoon character that you’ve created to attack.

On the larger question, I do not think that the occasional teaching of Obama songs to small children in the classroom signifies any long-term deification threat, systematic indoctrination or significant waste of taxpayer money.

So you don’t see a problem in these videos. Nothing wrong here. Nothing at all. This is time and taxpayer money well spent.

This would be expected from those who appear physically unable to extract their head from Barack Obama’s backside. We’re only trying to help, BB.

By your unspecified standard, The Huffington Post and Talking Points Memo (the most ironically named leftwing blog on the net) isn’t journalism, either. But it likes to pretend. And so do you.

At least they’re paying a little attention to what’s going on and (apparently, in several cases) trying to get African American kids who are especially at risk to pay attention to a positive role model.

There are no black role models in America, then? Are songs being written and performed on taxpayer dollar about any of them?

On the other hand, if you can show systematic, widespread indoctrination, I’ll sign your letter calling for mass firings. Let me know when you come up with evidence that didn’t come from YouTube.

This is only the evidence that has been documented. It is certainly not ONLY these videos and nothing else (as you’re trying to suggest). The law of averages dictates this.

And in your endless quest for evidence to back up claims like “the stimulus is working,” you let us know where the millions and millions of new jobs the Obamacrat “stimulus” was supposed to have directly “created” by the end of this past summer (according to the wonderful Administration’s estimates) have gone to.
