The Ed Morrissey Show: Melt the Phones!

posted at 1:00 pm on November 5, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll push back against the Nancy Pelosi rush to jam down her plan for ObamaCare. We’ll connect our viewers to the offices of their Representatives in Washington and deliver the message: No on ObamaCare! Bring the name of your Congresscritter and the phone number and pass it to Jazz Shaw by PM in the chatroom (or by email), and he and I will conference you and the office together so you can deliver your message. That means you have to have a registration at Ustream — so get your free registration now!

And it should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway: be polite and professional. The office staff are just working for a living, and we need to show that we understand that.

Don’t forget to contribute to Project Valour-IT! I’m on the Air Force team this year, and you can help wounded veterans receive adaptive-technology laptops to help them regain their productivity by donating now:

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice and The Monster moderate the chat, and they have Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!

I just got through to Senator Bob Casey’s office at 215-405-9660.

PENNSYLVANIA VOTERS…..CALL HIM NOW! Somebody is actually there in Philadelphia answer this phone right now…..the first time I was ever able to get through to one of his offices without going to voice mail.

Use the abortion issue on him as the reason for him to oppose Health Care….he’s a “Catholic” (in quotes, as when describing every Democrat phony when they call themselves that).

I also stopped by my congressman’s local office today at Noon and dropped off a little love note.

I was at a protest at my local Blue Dog’s office. His staff got him on the speaker phone and he promised the 40 of us that he will not vote for the Pelosi Scheme or any other plan that does not pay for itself…Walt Minnick (D) Idaho.
