Seriously… he giggles like a school girl every press conference. Is it a nervous laugh?
Ampersand on November 6, 2009 at 2:09 AM
He should be nervous. Imagine having to tell lies, cover lies, and pretend that you aren’t lying…for a living! I feel bad for making fun of his lips, that isn’t his fault. So, Giggles it is.
The next time you hear someone say that Obama’s failure to make a decision on troop levels in Afghanistan is because he’s agonizing over sending more men into harm’s way, direct them to this video.
I saw him live and all I was doing was yelling at the TV for the first few minutes…”What are you talking about, you moron..43 people were just maimed or murdered and you’re doing shout-outs?” I may just have to meditate for the next 3 years to handle this.
I guess I didn’t realize that the native American voting block was larger than the military voting block. Or is it just that he realizes he’ll never get a majority of the military to vote for him? Either way, watching this moron talk makes one realize, by this fool’s seventh year it will literally kill people by the dozens who are forced to listen to him talk. I haven’t heard worse rhythmic timing since grade school speech class. Are we absolutely sure he didn’t sleep his way through college?
obama is still shaking though they wont admit it to the election beating which no doubt put a crimp in the statist goals of these commies so they plan the next op for sucking up to another group that could be receptive to the antiamerican angle and help solidify and comfort his base which is in shock too.
unfortunately, a snag in the plan occurs completely throwing him of.
He looks so insincere because he is know wondering what to do.
Poor guy
whats the tag for sarcasm, Im not literate that way.
I wish someone threw a shoe cuz there is no way pantywaist avoids it.
You know, one would think that the friggin’ President would have the straight poop on something like this hours after it happened. So, I gather he didn’t want to even talk about this because it involved a (fellow?) Muslim. If it had been someone that had Glenn Beck books in his house information would have poured onto the airwaves along with all of his postings on Stormfront.org going back five years within an hour…even if they had to make them all up.
Even to this day the Libtard historians are loathe to admit that President McKinley was murdered by an Anarchist and that he acted alone…sound familiar? Never any conspiracy when it involves someone from the side of the political fence they’re cozy with. Most Americans don’t even know that the D.C. Shooter is a Muslim.
After OKC the Feds were all over the militia types out there, even paranoid about what Civil War re-enactors were “up to”.
Pathetic.
Wouldn’t be quite so bad except this BS is getting people killed. Think the Feds will be investigating all of these mosques and Muslim “schools” tomorrow? Yeah, right.
Remember the Congresswoman who was on the phone when a constituent was pouring her heart out about having cancer? The story at the time was that she was getting instructions from her handlers on who to give “shout outs” to in the audience. These people are all gigantic assh*les.
I was enraged when I heard jug eared clown as he did his political shout out and laugh before speaking about this terrible event. Then I remembered that he’s a Democrat so that naturally he will hate the military and he will speak as a traitor. They all do.
Once again a group of deranged individuals use a tragedy to manufacture some new reason to justify their irrational hatred of the President of the United States. Rather than focus on the real tragedy, these pretend patriots manufacture rule out of thin air and then attack in the most vicious terms the president for breaking them and elevate this fake transgression from tactical error to moral failing.
Yes, the president chose to get the less important business out of the way first, so that he could focus his and the audience’s attention on the more serious work after. It makes sense to me — why start out with the uimportant news and the segue into “but enough with all that stuff, let me thank the organizers….” The real news gets pride of place in the event. Bur even if he had reversed the order, what difference would it have made? None. The tragedy would have been the same, the news would have been just as bad.
But go ahead with your shallow psychoanalyses and bitter rants, if it makes you feel better. People process tragedies different. Some like adults, some like damaged adolescents eager to cast blame. But the effort spent pointlessley smearing President Obama foir imaged faults, diminishes the meaning of the attack at Fort Hood and steals attention from the victims and their families.

I could take every single thing you just said and apply it to the left’s 8 years of deranged ranting over Bush’s reading of “my pet goat” during 9/11
The difference is Bush actually looked concerned when 9/11 happened and wasn’t doing “shout outs”
So take your self-righteous paintbrush and stick it sideways up your ass, swirl it around a few times, and then go have a ham biscuit with Bobo
So you did think the Bush “My Pet Goat” thing that you allowed to go on and on for years was now silly….right?

Gosh that sure does sound like you left wingers when Bush was in charge.
The reality is that he never came off like Obama did last night. America will see Obama the way he really is. Sorry but your arse blocking for him will not work this time.
Some like adults, some like damaged adolescents eager to cast blame.
Wow you mean like Obama blaming Bush over and over and over?
Is that what you mean?
Like I said last night….Obama could be video taped by 30 different TV stations killing someone and you would still defend him.

Not that it’s particularly relevant but since you brought it up, I’ll point out that Bush’s reaction to 9/11 was to hide on Air Force One for several hours and let Cheney run the show.
Even AP thinks you guys are over the edge on this and he is no fan of Obama.
lexhamfox on November 6, 2009 at 12:03 AM
Well that does it then.
What are you a little kid?
America will see it and it will not be good for Obama and that is a fact. Even if the right thing was to get the little things out of the way that little “smirk” and “shout out” will haunt him. So continue with your wishful thinking.

Bleeds: happens to be relevant because, if you think back, no one knew at the time who was attacking whom and where, and he was president, so he wasn’t “hiding” he was simply staying safe. Or had you forgotten. This bimbo would flee the country, and never return. Which would be a very good thing.

We are arguing with Bleeds who has not a rational bone in his body. I should save my keyboarding for more fruitful endeavors than trying to argue with that ObamaFreak.
…I guess common deciency was not a class offered at Harvard…this man was never prepared for this position.
His performance at yesterday’s press conference cut me deeper than anything else to date.
To put POLITICS ahead of consoling the families and soldiers affected by this tragey…speaks volumes.
Say what you want about Palin…I have no doubt she would have handled this in a dignified manner…she already has it in her…she comes from that part of AMERICA.
At first I thought it was an Onion or Jimmy Kimmel spoof with the CNN Breaking News headline superimposed on the president doing his shout outs. Because there’s no way a normal president and commander-in-chief would do that, right? Oh wait….
What thoughts and prayers, he doesn’t have a church unless you count sport events and the golf course; maybe meetings that include liberal journalists.
Maybe he should have said, “Send the family’s positive energy.” That’s more in line with the atheists, I’m sorry I mean the agnostics.

I actually never paid that much attention to it, to be sure, though I did then and do now think that the President should have responded publicly earlier than he did. Safety is important but there are other demands.
Both the goat and the shout out suggest that there’s a certain “show must go on” instinct that affects any president when the entire travelling circus pushes you up on stage and the cameras start rolling that can bring a certain awkwardness as a first response.
I never, however, heard Bush’s patriotism, humanity or concern for the victims questioned, however, and the jeers never reached the level of viciousness you see on the right over this incident.
And, pro forma, very different situations on a lot of levels.

Barack Barry Hussein Soetoro Obama is an outsider, usurper and totally disconnected from America and what it means to be an American.

That is crap and you have to know it. You are living in alternative reality if you honestly think that the people on the right are anywhere near as nasty as the lefties were toward Bush. Not even close. I saw Bush shed tears for the loss of our people. I saw him holding the badge of a fallen policeman at the WTC and promise he would not be forgotten. He never apologized for America or Americans.
And so far as I know, no one has accused Obama of being part of the attack. And yet people routinely accused Bush of masterminding attacks on his own country.
So, if you honestly can not see the difference, then you are not in touch with the real world.

I’ve been calling him “Giggles” for months now. Ever since that infamous “are you punch drunk” interview and he laughed for an answer.
I’ve already started sending this video around. The MSM isn’t going to report the President’s failures, so it is up to us to let people know how caring our President really is.
He’s too busy giving “shout outs” and campaigning. What a disgrace!!!!
Obama is not an American. He may or may not have been born in Hawaii, but he doesn’t love America like I do. I guess that’s why he has no problem hating the Constitution and wanting to destroy it along with the entire country…
There is something wrong with Dear Leader. This is the wrong time to be playing anthropologist. He should have stood up with a spine and rallied all americans. Instead he barrages us with nothing phrases like “outburst of violence”. Irritating POS. He could have at least faked some concern.
Obama never fails to pass up an opportunity to prove how disgusting a human being he is.
Oh, I know why he gave that shout out. He was talking to the “First Americans!” The ones with the “extraordinary traditions, cultures and values!” The troops who were murdered, well, they were just “Second Americans” who died on the First American’s land, so, they needed to wait their turn!
Here’s the site “First Americans for Obama” http://tribes.barackobama.com/page/content/firstamshome “Paid for by Organizing for America” a project by the Democrat National Committee

Wasn’t it the LEFT that criticized and made jokes of Bush’s reaction, on TV to 9/11. I don’t remember Bush laughing or shouting out to anyone.
Face it, Obama is a loathsome traitor and his one care in the world is his own ego.
I wonder, when will our national nightmare be over? If the GOP had some cojones, they would impeach this m-fer in 2010. But I know that’s not going to happen.
President Bush would have been there by now.
President Bush would have been there by now.

Are you really this stupid or are you posturing?
GWB was in Florida. An airplane had just slammed into the Pentagon and another downed itself enroute to the capital. Not to mention the terrorist attack in NYC. Nobody knew what was going on or if there were more attacks planned. GWB was on a plane designed to be an airborne command center in the time of nuclear attack. He was hardly out of contact and Cheney was not running the show while he hid out.
I get that you are a liberal but this kind of comment crosses the line and comes very close to putting you in the same catagory with people like Medea Benjamin- you know the woman that has jeered wounded troops at Walter Reed.
He had to say all the initial crap because people were actually paying attention to him for once, after getting sick of seeing his face all over the tube for the past year. This was his chance.
Is there going to be a speech about Islamic radicals from the One? Don’t hold your breath.
Ready…one…two…inhale…ugh, passed out waiting
When he first started speaking – I assumed they were showing an old file tape by mistake, cause he couldn’t possibly be there to speak about the tragedy. And he went on and on and I figured when the hell are they going to figure out they have an old tape in….and then….OMG – how do you even process this. He is despicable. And no, we should“should not” calm down!

Guys,
You might as well understand this now. So long as the Dems are in control of the House there will be no impeachment. The filthy lying coward in the White House could have gone on that stage and apologized that America is so screwed up that Army officers have to resort to killing to get America out of the war. It wouldn’t matter. Pelosi is the most powerful politician in the country and she will not allow a President from her corrupt party to be impeached and Harry Reid will never allow the Senate to vote on removal.
The effort cannot be on impeachment but taking back the house and then launching investigation after investigation on this bastard and all the corrupt and unconfirmed people surrounding him.
You are a genuine Patriot Kelley, and I am always humbled and thrilled to chat with you. I thank god for Michelle Malkin and HotAir because they allow me to see that people like you still live in and care so deeply about this GREAT REPUBLIC I am fortunate enough to call my home… God Bless you…

You are correct in saying people process tragedies differently…we do. I am sure the people at the conference would understand if they weren’t recognized right away or at all. The President’s first reaction was to get all of the “cool” stuff out first, but he came off as uncaring to most of the people watching the press conference. We expect a President to react and be for our country instead of against it. I am not sure who this President is for….it wasn’t for Ft. Hood and our military for 1:57 yesterday.
Niiiiiice, a president giving shout-outs in a time of national sorrow. What’s next, “big ups to my peeps” as he lays a wreath at the ceremony to mark the fall of the Berlin wall?……oh, ..what? he’s not going to the….you gotta be kidding? Doh!
I understand very well that a bunch of traitorous bunch of vermin is in charge of the House and Senate and that is set to change in 2010. I just don’t have any confidence in the GOP actually impeaching this guy. In a just world, that should have happened but I don’t know if the GOP is going to go all squishy on us in 2010.

Trust me when I tell you this… the “B” team is a smoke and mirrors distraction, their “A” team is also here, and they are as subtle and crafty as the Serpent in the Garden of Eden was. If you are not very careful, while you are looking at the obvious trolls, the really dangerous ones are stabbing you in the back.
The “A” team trolls seem just like conservatives and patriots right up until they gently offer small compromises or discourage certain idea’s. They are very very difficult to ferret out. They are the Palin haters, the TEA Party dismissers, the Birth certificate mockers. They are very very sneaky and subtle.
That was bizarre. A perfect example of the immaturity of the man-child in the White House. He doesn’t “get it”. All events are about him. All the time. A shout out? Really?

Hey, man, a shout-out to all my good friends! Look at how hard my cabinet is working! Look at me! My cabinet is the greatest because it’s all about me. Oh, yeah, about those soldiers. Shame, ain’t it? But, back to me and my team, we are great, aren’t we?
Why do you think he has all of the eugenists as czars? They are planning on mass murdering us anyway so what is a few military. He figures they were dead anyway because he was going to ship them out over and over again until they either fall out or get killed.
Read the writings of Sustein and others speaking with no feeling about population control, taking organs of terminal patients without their consent, forced sterilizations, loving Mao and how he murdered millions to gain control, loving Chaves and how he took out the media because they are in his way, praising Castro for murdering thousands and keeping his country in chains to maintain control.
Anyone who does not know the intensions of this president is just plain blind or stupid or both.
Samual Adams has the best words that we need to tell all of them:
If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams
I live about 20 mi NE of FT Hood. I am around these soldiers every day. You see them every where you go around here. I hear their stories, and see the wounded and maimed from Brooke when I travel to San Antonio. I have been around the military all my life and it never ceases to amaze me the professionalism these soldiers have, even under the worst scenarios. I watched the General and other soldier give the news update this AM and even commented to my wife how professionaly they conducted themselves. I then came home and watched this video of the 0 and his speech. What a disgrace that was. This man has no respect for the military. Our soldies carry on with dignity while their CIC ‘dwadles’ about Afghanistan and gives shout outs.. How about being president for just one day instead of campaining around the country DS? Then you have people like bleeds blue who defends this jackass. Most people like BB have never contributed anything to this country but their opinion. Never had to sacrifice to defend this country so he has the right to express his opinion. So until you actually do something to be productive in the sovernity of this nation BB STFU.

Either way, watching this moron talk makes one realize, by this fool’s seventh year it will literally kill people by the dozens who are forced to listen to him talk. We’re all expendable in His eyes.

Bleeds Blue on November 6, 2009 at 5:51 AM
I could take every single thing you just said and apply it to the left’s 8 years of deranged ranting over Bush’s reading of “my pet goat” during 9/11
The difference is Bush actually looked concerned when 9/11 happened and wasn’t doing “shout outs”
So take your self-righteous paintbrush and stick it sideways up your ass, swirl it around a few times, and then go have a ham biscuit with Bobo

Gosh that sure does sound like you left wingers when Bush was in charge.
The reality is that he never came off like Obama did last night. America will see Obama the way he really is. Sorry but your arse blocking for him will not work this time.
Wow you mean like Obama blaming Bush over and over and over?
Is that what you mean?

CWforFreedom on November 6, 2009 at 6:17 AM

With 300 million Americans wondering what the hell is going on, he chose not to lead.

GWB was in Florida. An airplane had just slammed into the Pentagon and another downed itself enroute to the capital. Not to mention the terrorist attack in NYC. He was hardly out of contact and Cheney was not running the show while he hid out.

Guys,
You might as well understand this now.
