When I remember Graham is from South Carolina I try to visualize what the type of voter would look like if they voted for this piece of garbage. It is usually a lifeform with three heads with single eyes in their foreheads, then I wake up and remember that Demint and Wilson are South Carolina. So I must be having a nightmare and somebody like Graham couldn’t possibly exist, much less be elected from that state.

To me, Graham is a worse problem than Obama. As long as we have this kind of RINO on our side, we are doomed. Citizenship for illegals, Govt. run healthcare, Cap & Tax and the ridiculous skyrocketing of energy prices (and necessarily everything else) Graham will make happen with his reaching across the aisle and compromise. God deliver us from such people. South Carolina deliver us from such people.

Lindsey Graham opens the door to his inner self with the quote- “Conservativism is an asset. Blind ideology is not.”

An asset? This implies it is a tool, a means to an end, not a point of view, not a principle, just a tool. A tool like having a silver tongue, the ability to lie with a straight face, and something to whip out when you find yourself losing in your next campaign, which is where I hope Graham finds himself.

So little Lindsay has already ceded to the left “the green economy”. Why would we expect anything else from him? Certainly not a fight! People like him, McCain, the Maine sisters, Specter, etc., have cost us dearly. With the way the Dems are pushing all these bills through without even letting the R’s be a part of them, I will expect, if and when our team ever is in power again, them to do the same. But they won’t, because we always play nice and I’m tired of it.

I am from South Carolina and I am thoroughly embarrassed by this nut-cake. I voted for his democrat opponent last year because I figured if we were going to get a liberal-leaning senator, I at least wanted the genuine article. The radio here is full of spots asking people to contact Graham about his tax and cap compromise thing with the devil, John Kerry. I tried faxing my letter – - 8 times. All failed either for the fax being busy, or unable to connect. I hope this dolt is getting an eye full.

If you don’t bother to run a conservative on either side of the ticket, then a conservative can’t possibly win…

How does that help conservatism or anyone who believes in their principles more than a party that stands for whatever it needs to at the time to get elected?

I guess I don’t understand how this works. I’m thinking that having an election where the two candidates think different things and there is a choice to make is how voting should work… I didn’t realize running two identical candidates with different letters after their name is the goal.

When did that become the goal again?

The GOP needs to thin the herd and get rid of all these Rinos. The core beliefs in Conservatism is what will bring the party back on top, not “reaching across the aisle”.
