I saw the segment but had a negative impression. I hope Hoffman wins, but he looked kind of weird sandwiched in between the Thompsons. They did most of the talking and when Hoffman did speak it was only to respond to a few questions from Sean Hannity about the process of how he wasn’t picked by the GOP, how he got to the point of forcing Scozzafava out, and other process stuff. He never was asked to make the case for himself and didn’t take the chance to do it anyway. It struck me as an opportunity missed and made him look like a weak guy that needed to be shepherded by the more charismatic, energetic, and articulate Thompsons.

I saw this last night and thought this is exactly what we need. I don’t think he’ll be intimidated by anyone either. He’ll stick to his values and what the people of his district want. I have a feeling if anyone decides to cross him he can give a good tounge lashing too. Have to watch out for the quiet type sometimes.

He struck me as just that…a regular guy. He was very honest, too, about why the Dede story is odd. It really is because she’s very liberal. Odd to see a GOP label on her.

I liked his honesty about that. That’s refreshing.

It was just this sort of quiet businessmen and farmers, who took up their guns and joined in the battle for American independence. It was just this sort of man that ran into battle and carried the flag (DON’T TREAD ON ME)…We need more mild mannered men/(and loud women)–to take up the flag…
It is up to us, the people of the land, to vote, and support these kinds of people.

He’s the moderate squish who wants everybody to like him and who Matt Drudge warned us years ago suffered from a bad case of Limbaugh envy.

On his show last night, O’Reilly bashed Limbaugh, Hannity and Beck in two segments, first with Brit Hume and then with Bernie Goldberg. He said that he agrees with critics who want the “opinion blocks” off of Fox News Channel.

Which also suggests that the candidate who’s voters are more motivated has a decided advantage. That’s the right leaning candidate in all 3 east coast races.

–You’d have to think that the low turnout should help Hoffman. But I would have thought the overall turnout would be higher by mid afternoon, given the national attention and intensity. Maybe this one polling post is unusual.

Libs are just too embarrassed to show up and vote.

Some of them still have hopenchange bumper stickers and are ashamed to be seen in public.

Others have scarred the vehicles with nasty scratches in an effort to rid themselves of memories of the vacuous sloganeering.

The painful realization of their phantasmagoric excess in being duped into voting for a Marxist even now causes them to speak in hushed tones.

They agonize over being so humiliated and have spent thousands on psychological counseling.

It is a this stage where I particularly enjoy conducting a psy-op to push them over the edge.

All it takes is a toldyaso or two.

Me too. They lit the fuse and perhaps gave Cuda a heads up and then she smacked out of the park.

I think Fred and cuda are compatible and Jeri has good judgement. Jeri is one tough woman and seems to mesh well with Palin. They are aligned philosophically it seems.
