As predicted CNN says all of this is froth and utterly meaningless in terms of the 2010 elections. It also has nothing at all to do with Obama.

I’m inclined to agree, in part. Congressional elections are arguably tied to national politics, but control of the state? There are so many issues and variables that have nothing to do with the occupant of the White House (in New Jersey’s case, high taxes and dislike of Corzine come to mind). Maybe some of it was anti-Obama, but I think most of it wasn’t, just like I don’t think Mark Warner’s election in ’02 was a reflection of how Virginians felt about George W. Bush. State politics are different. Isn’t that obvious?

Did Pinnochio campaign for Owens in NY 24 or just Virginia and New Jersey?
Inquiring minds want to know especially since the Liar in Chief and his Presstitute whores want to say this has nothing to do with him or his policies or job approval.

Truly, I think it’s more like Obamunism: 1/2. Yes, the Democrat won, but what will be his focus for the next year; bending over and lubing up for Obama or voting for fiscal responsibility out of fear for the next race right around the corner? If the GOP in NY-23 learned anything they may well run a fiscal conservative this time, properly funded, under the Republican banner. Then the drama will be on the race and clear distinctions between the two candidates and not the circus this special election turned into. The Dem will have to defend his year in office. What will he want the voters to see?

Except this wasn’t a mid-term election. Those will be next year, when Obama and his idiotic liberal policies will get the a$$-kicking of a lifetime. Last night’s fun was just a little preview of coming attractions.
