Yes, but the real problem is Obama is untouchable to about 24% of the people.
Jimmy didn’t have that, he had maybe the 12% liberal nuts that vote dem no matter what, but he didn’t have the race card to play…Obama is tough because he has that built in 24% that is unshakable, that leaves the balance of 76%, where it has to shake out 51% R, and 25% d…
That is how we lost, the independents did not see, or understand what Obama was going to do, policy wise. They voted on personality and “hope and change”.
We need to attack his policies, and only that, since the swing vote will be the independents…and they will look at policies.
Try to attack Obama personally, and people will defend him to prove we are not bigots…

Obama and the Democrat’s congress in 2006 gave us something like 8% unemployment and a $750B.

Obama and that congress now have given us 17% unemployment and a $2T deficit.

Are there any questions the man has failed in any measurable sense on the economy?

Every manufacturer seems to be moving to Mexico or other 3rd world countries.

That’s not actually true.

We don’t make t-shirts, plastic toys and other cheap, disposable crap that can be made in third world hell holes like China, true.

We’re never going to compete on that basis. Americans don’t raise their kids to sew t-shirts in sweatshops.

We lead the world in high tech manufacturing. Those are the jobs we have now and the ones we need to keep.

One way to do that is to improve our schools. They currently suck, because they’re run by Democrats and educrats.

They need to be privatized, to develop the intellectual capital we need to compete.

That’s yet another area where the Democrats fail miserably. They are chasing textile jobs and the cheap toy manufacturing jobs, that will NEVER come back.

Not to mention public sector jobs, that don’t pay the bills, they ARE the bills.

Democrats are wrong about everything, but espeically about the economy.

But in the pic I always saw it as some goofball leaping up the steps with goofy enthusiasm like a total child idiot.

LOL. You paint a familiar picture there. I still cringe when I remember one of my kids acting like a moron in front of some girl he liked and falling backward down a step right on his butt. Beets don’t even come close to describing his face.

Another item missing from the poll and its report: the party split in the sample. The CNN/Opinion Research poll does not include any data on its survey respondents on party identification, a rather unusual omission for a political poll.

I’ve never seen CNN disclose this info in their “polls”.

FYI their polling is now run by Vinod Gupta, a longtime Clinton suckup. They used to partner with Gallup but threw them under the bus a couple of years ago.

What could possibly be driving manufacturing and industry out of the country to places where they can be more competitive with the rest of the world.

Could be higher taxes, unionization, over-regulation and threats from Washington.
