First the anti-Hoffman poll spin and now the Palin “good soldier” spin, sounds to me like at least one moderate Republican isn’t being a supporter who really wants to see {R}s win, unless they are actually (D)s in disguise…..

Correct. Only the "right" Republicans, elite enough to sneer at us common folk, then bend over and lube up for the next liberal, statist idea.

It's pretty simple, National Healthcare Legislation is beyond the powers granted to Congress in the Constitution, thus, UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
Will John Boehner have the balls to step up to the podium and denounce this as being illegal and unconstitutional? Don't hold your breath.
The ONLY person, it seems, that has any testicular fortitude in Congress is Michelle Bachmann.

A "gamechanging" message on a Saturday?

Yeah, right. I knew it wasn't going to produce as advertised just based on the day of delivery, especially when said day is HALLOWEEN.

Lame.

Agree, the Sarah wink, while cute is tired already.

Allah, Allah, Allah, you silly beta male....

The other day while you were so preoccupied with the latest Levi Johnston news or some CNN poll telling us all how bad Sarah sucked, except that it really didn't, you missed Sarah's hugs and kisses to the GOP:

East Coast Races Impact All Americans

As I stand here in a high school gymnasium watching freshmen girls' basketball games, I'm struck by the sight of America's future right in front of me - these tenacious young women full of energy and intensity. I want them to realize every opportunity this great, free nation can provide.

There are big political races on the East Coast that are coming down to the wire - the results of which will impact policies and political actions that touch all of us in every state. Like other independent Americans, I don’t always see eye-to-eye with Republican political committees, so when I tell you that the Republican Governors Association has my complete support and confidence in its campaign efforts back East, know that I really mean it.

The RGA is helping lead the conservative comeback beginning this year, and its involvement in the East Coast races is significant. I hope you'll support these efforts, which are vital to the cause for America's freedom and prosperity:

http://www.rga.org/initiatives/comeback-fund/.

Let's consider the governor's race in New Jersey. The state has the highest tax burden in the country and the incumbent Democrat governor has only added to the economic burden. He eliminated property tax rebates for middle class homeowners while the sales tax increased.

Altogether, taxes on the people in the region have increased by billions of dollars. It’s no surprise that New Jersey has the highest unemployment rate in the region! Thankfully, there is an alternative. Residents there will be better off under an administration that understands the benefits that result when workers are allowed to keep more of what they earn.

Watch New Jersey's economy come alive under new leadership that will put government back on the side of the people! Chris Christie promises this new leadership.

Fortunately, New Jersey's Democrat governor is being held accountable with the RGA spending $7 million in the New York and Philadelphia media markets telling the truth about a liberal administrative record while highlighting New Jersey's tax-hiking ways and reminding voters there is an alternative!

The NY and Philly markets are the most expensive in the nation though, so the RGA is requesting help to stay on the air.

Visit http://www.rga.org/initiatives/comeback-fund/.

Then in Virginia, there is a clear difference between Republican Bob McDonnell and his liberal opponent. Republican Bob McDonnell is fighting for cheaper American energy and lower taxes, while his opponent wants to raise taxes and, amazingly, even bragged about having more earmarks than any other state legislator.

Bob McDonnell promises to fight for Virginia's hard working families, and he opposes some heavy-handed union leadership efforts that could ultimately hurt employers and employees. The RGA has aired $6 million of TV ads exposing the liberal candidate’s record. I encourage you to help fight for our neighbors in the East by visiting:

http://www.rga.org/initiatives/comeback-fund/.

Americans who believe in smaller government and free enterprise have a chance to show Washington that people all across the U.S. don’t want an ever-increasing national debt, more dependency on foreign energy sources, and more wasteful government spending.

If, like me, this is what you want to show Washington, then I hope you'll support Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell and the RGA, as great efforts are put forth in these East Coast races.

The young student athletes I'm watching right now are counting on us to do the right thing - to fight for what is right for America today and into their future. Electing candidates with common sense and respect for freedom is one way we can fight for what is right.

- Sarah Palin

THAT was the hugs and kisses to the GOP.

Also a very strong message.

As far as the "game changer" what in the world were you expecting, naked dancing girls?

Boehner in his deep monotone voice laid it out in the simplest of terms, and then sends you to the spot to really investigate the plans the GOP have put together.

Do you guys REMEMBER Ross Perot and those freakin' charts? OMG, it was like watching paint dry, or grass grow. People are stupid. They have the attention span of a gnat.

Boehner got in the highlights and most will go and read for themselves. Could someone else been more "exciting" to watch, well..YEAH, absolutely. And? It was workman like. Serviceable. It got the job done.

Sarah did her part, because she believes in it, and Boehner did his. But like most good things, the viewer/reader has to do THEIR part as well. Can't get more conservative than that.

One wonders whether 'middle ground' is just another swipe at so called conservatives. Conservatives are the middle ground, the fore ground and the background. Used to be that the GOP was unabashedly conservative, what the McCains of the world now describe as too far right and whose 'tent' is too small or some other bit of ephemera. Nonsense. They've been brainwashed by this and that bit of PC and media claptrap and GOP strategist blather about the independent vote and have fallen for it. Conservative is what the GOP should be, has been up until recently and need not apologize for.

The "Hoffman Strategy" is not a third-party strategy . . . not exactly.

Think of NY-23 - which did not have a primary - as really being a primary and general election in one. If it were a primary, Hoffman would have beaten the crap out of Scozzafavabean and won as an "R".

Since the soon-to-be-ex-local-GOP leadership plucked Ms. Really-a-Dem out of the Left to run as an "R" - Hoffman had to sidle in as a "3rd-Party" candidate, and then win it for the R's.

Either way: the strategy is not a 3rd-Party game, really - It's retake the GOP for conservatism however we need to.

Party GOP loyalty? These days that just mean loyalty to GOP party leadership. To hell with that! Real conservatives need to get in there, run against Leftist-R incumbants in primaries, and slice by slice re-take the GOP from fools who want to take conservatism OUT of the Republican Party.

This is a game changer, not a peace offering. Sarah gets probably hundreds of thousands to watch a speech most would have missed if waiting for media coverage. She's going around the MSM, and taking GOP healthcare proposals with her this time.

This isn’t Palin first wienie roast, Allah.

She’s always ahead of the curve, and you’re always just watching from the sidelines with a fake name.

I couldn't help but notice that Boehner's "game-changing" radio address didn't even make Drudge.

Though, to be fair, I also noticed that Dede (who can spell that last name?) is described on Huffington as "Candidate targeted by Palin..."

AP you are such a cynic, but I'm afraid that this time I soooo agree with you. Sarah gave one back for the team. The problem is they dropped the ball and made her look like a horse's a$$ for suggesting that this is a game changer. This is just a smaller crap sandwich compared to Pelosi's monstrously disgusting quadruple bypass that everyone wants to throw out (or is it up).

I don't see the RINOs coming around. Some of those less connected to Washington might, but it wouldn't be surprising to see many defect to the dems. Ever wonder how many RINOs might have actually voted for Obama?

AP in a way I think you are right. This is no game changer. Unless getting the word out on what republicans have been trying to do for some time makes it a game changer.

This was a peace offering. We will see how the GOP reacts and if they will soften the tone with the Cuda. She does not want a third party, she wants to reshape the GOP into something the tea party bunch can get behind.

They will need to change or wither on the vine. I hope she succeeds.
