“So how many were saved and how many created? They don’t know.

“In a briefing with reporters, officials acknowledged they can’t tell the difference between jobs ‘saved,’ and jobs ‘created’ by the $787 billion stimulus package.

“They said they also can’t tell the difference between private sector jobs and government jobs…

Everyone that’s been hired or hasn’t lost his/her job since January 20 owes it all to Teh One. Pretty simple formulation.

ddrintn on October 30, 2009 at 10:08 PM

DeSeve? How is that pronounced? Seems appropriate if it sounds like it looks.

Whew! I looked up today and found I still had my job. Thanks Barack Obama! Chalk that up as a save!

ted c on October 30, 2009 at 10:11 PM

Its amazing that this is so hard for everybody.

I mean really that 90% employeed were all saved by Obama.

If the stimulus wasn’t passed every single person would have loss their job and we’d be at 100% unemployment.

Well guess not 100%, Obama and his buddies would still have jobs working to spend our tax money.

Rbastid on October 30, 2009 at 10:11 PM

“Still have a job? You’re welcome.

Jim Treacher on October 30, 2009 at 10:12 PM

It seems that it wouldn’t be at all difficult to determine the jobs that were “saved or created” in the public sector. I’m sure that number is more likely a mystery for purely political reasons.

sf_conservative on October 30, 2009 at 10:13 PM

We’re spending $92,000 per job saved or created? That’s… fascinating.

HornetSting on October 30, 2009 at 10:15 PM

If we had any sort of legitimate media, The Precedent would have been laughed off the podium every time he said “saved or created” and never would have been allowed to get away with making such a moronic statement. But, it went on for months and months without a peep. Of course, just about everything that dribbles out of the ineligible traitor’s mouth is either a lie or one of the dumbest public statements in history. It is incredible.

This nation shall not survive this feral government and the neo-Pravda media. It’s coming to an end.

I have 4 brothers. One in Detroit. One in Charlotte, North Carolina. One in Charleston, SC, and one in St. Louis. All are college degreed professionals. All but one lost their jobs since 11/08. The three that are unemployed are still unemployed…not one dime has found it’s way into any of their pockets, other than unemployment compensation, in nearly a year. No jobs saved. None created (at least for my family).

Stimulous, shimulous.

This whole “saved jobs” fits perfectly with the NEA head who wrote that Obama was the “greatest political author since Julius Ceasar” or some nonsense. If you read that entire piece he authored, he was on his knees for Obamabi and the stimulus money. Had the nerve to write “90 percent of Broadway shows fail to make back money for their backers. Why do we do it?” and answered some pablum about altruistic goals when the obvious answer is “Because we receive Obama money!”
Their jobs were “saved”, no?

I know where a lot of the stimulus money went…

On talk radio there are dozens of “clean energy” or “saving energy” .gov ads all day long, everyday.

Government propaganda ads by the hundreds on every station in every city.

Anybody else notice this? I counted 5 per hour listening to Limbaugh and Beck everyday. 25-30 ads in 6 hours.

That’s one area our hard earned money is going. Pisses me off too!

Job Creation = Obama Shell Game

Kini on October 30, 2009 at 11:02 PM

The markets figured it out today.

Yesterday, they bought the bullshit. Today, they sold it.

This administration is so full of crap. It stinks to high heaven. Barry’s been out on the road talking about small businesses and what needs to be done. That should have been his first call as pres. Nah, he hates business. The game is up, though. It’s all about jobs, and small businesses create jobs. This president is such a loser.

Game’s up, Barry. Stimulate the private sector or face defeat. Even if he can figure it out with his “great intellect”, ideologically he hates business. So down he goes, and not a minute too soon.

Worst administration evah, Dems. Go down in flames, burn, and may your ashes rest forever on the dung heap of tried and true failed policies. They always do. Liberal Dems are not “progressives”, they are reactionaries. Stupid people replicating only that which has failed.

And one more thing, Lib Dems…. Anyone with an ounce of life who aspires to being more than a client of your shitty welfare state wants nothing to do with you.

We have a president who doesn’t even understand why the United States of America was formed. It was because our founders wanted nothing to do with old Europe and its diseased mentality. Now… they want to bring it to our shores and inflict it on a great nation of free-minded people.

Never, ever, ever.

With a little study and research I think you will find that this is exactly what happened. Think Cold War, think ’60′s, think disaffected minority groups, think (especially) Chicago, South Side.

I remember this era. I guess I’m becoming ‘old’ in terms of the current healthcare reform legislation, but the truth is that many of my contemporaries who were radicalized are now firmly entrenched in the government. They are 60′s retreads. Studying this influence is fascinating. If you do, you will find that there was a concerted effort to undermine the capitalist premise of this country. One must be a student of history – always.
