You keep making the assertion that Rush changed people’s mind with a lie…

Conservative Voice on October 29, 2009 at 1:49 AM

He did. Rush lied. And you're too much of a coward not to declare it wrong.

when in fact people’s opinion of Huck was pretty solid based on what Huck said and did…not what Rush said.

And a coward for kicking MH again.

Two of my favorite greatest Huckster hits:

CreatedOrSaved on October 28, 2009 at 10:54 PM

Yeah, I notice two things myself. First, I point out Limbaugh lied about somebody for his own political reasons. Basically, the NFL did to him, what he did to Mike Huckabee. Instead of saying, "Yeah, that was unfair," as most reasonable people would, you run another dishonest attack ad against Huckabee.

I mean you want to show a crucifix in your ad, fine do it, but don’t act like we’re paranoiacs for noticing.

Second thing, you attack a "wish-you-well ad" at Christmas time -- on Christmas -- I mean a floating cross in a Christmas commercial. Oh, the horror!!! To even bring that up. To make it an issue. It reveals how pathetic you are and I don't think you realize it.

King, 52 House Republicans Call on Obama to Fire Kevin Jennings

Congressman Steve King (R-IA) and 52 other House Republicans today sent a letter to the White House calling on President Barack Obama to fire "safe schools" czar Kevin Jennings. King, the first member of Congress to ask for the dismissal of Jennings, initially called for President Obama to fire Jennings on October 5.

WORDS OF WISDOM...
November 14, 2007
Earlier this year, King, the top Republican on the House Immigration Subcommittee, highlighted a little-noticed government report showing that 11,000 local, state and federal employees did not have legal immigration status. Previous studies by the Social Security Administration’s Inspector General also showed that more than 5,000 Department of Defense employees were illegally in the country

He continued: "I will tell you that, if he is elected president, then the radical Islamists, the al-Qaida, the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11 because they will declare victory in this War on Terror."

King thinks radical Islamists will say the United States has capitulated because the Obama administration would be pulling troops out of any conflict associated with al-Qaida. http://www.spencerdailyreporter.com/story/1316727.html

If you’ve never read this contemporaneous defense of Limbaugh’s comments about McNabb by Allen Barra, who truly is one of the better sportswriters in America, do it now.

Barra is one of the best sports writers around, but he missed the mark with the Slate piece. At one point he discounts McNabb's running ability based on his propensity to be sacked (at least in relation to Brad Johnson). The stack statistic is more a function of the quality of the offensive line. If Johnson has an extra second before protection breaks down then he'll be more efficient.

Also, in 2003 McNabb had terrible receivers. Compare his QB rating in 2003 with 2004 after the Eagles signed Terrell Owens and Brian Westbrook developed as a passing target.

He said the media overhypes them because they are black.

Man, I scoured the Web, but couldn't find the clip of Vanilla Ice explaining the difference between the bass lines of Under Pressure and Ice Ice Baby. Dang.

Ridiculous. Goodell claims ignorance and tries to shrug off that he killed Limbaugh's bid whether explicitly or tacitly. I'm glad King grilled him on Fergie and JLo. I already didn't like his managerial style w/ the NFL thus far and if he moves any closer to trying to push the NFL to London I'm done with it.

"The NFL is all about unity." --- Pete Goodell

That must be why we watch so many grown boys (and I mean boys) chase a hunk of pigskin down 100 yds of grass and run headlong into each other, hitting the other guy as hard as they can, and then smearing their opponents' faces into the turf when the defeated are denied their goal and taunted over it by the winners.

You mean that kind of unity that allows every single team member in the NFL to wear the "not so fervently coveted anymore because everyone gets one" Super Bowl Ring, given only to the most mediocre and average football players lucky enough to have a good agents and not tear an ACL in practice? You mean that kind of unity, right Pete?

Personally, I'd rather watch a bunch of tough guys beat the snot out of each other and only the toughest and smartest come away with Victory, but then again, my Heroes all wear the Uniform of the Armed Forces of the United States of America, not some bunch of fairies and racist *ssholes like the NFL players who won't work as well for a white coach or a white owner as they supposedly would for a black owner in YOUR NFL. So I actually get to see my Heroes do what I like to see. Kill our enemies, protect the innocent, build new democracies and improving economies where only tyranny and poverty existed before.

And tougher on their worst day than any p*ssy who works for the NFL.

Yours is a complete misrepresentation of what Rush said. You have made the exact mistake the media did.

You keep making the assertion that Rush changed people's mind with a lie...when in fact people's opinion of Huck was pretty solid based on what Huck said and did...not what Rush said.

The players that say the wouldn't play for Rush are full of it. They want there big fat checks. Most of them have no clue of who the team owners really are. If the players have such strong convictions, great, but I seriously doubt that they are willing to Not get paid.

I also hope based on Goodell's thoughts on those issues that he comes out and Bans Larry Johnson from the Chiefs after his clear homophobic comments. The Chiefs got ahead of the league and suspended him but if Rodger has any values he'll come out and kick him out of football forever. Or does he not care about homosexual people being fans of the NFL?

Wow, he just completely ignored everything King said and just repeated his lame "we don't want to be divisive" nonsense. Of course he won't hold Jennifer Lopez and "Fergie" accountable, they're good lil' dems and the overpaid chumps in the NFL listen to their "music" for lack of a better word.

I still don’t see what your issue is. Limbaugh did say that some players are overhyped because they are black. I don’t think I misrepresented what he said.

Why do you keep lying? He was talking about the media overhyping players because they're black. What exactly does lying do for you? Is it just a way of life? I have to assume you're not an idiot so you know you're lying and everyone here knows it as well.

Rush doesn't hold back and tells it like it is. He calls a spade a spade. No disrespect intended. Every word that comes out of his mouth is considered a racist comment to those inside the beltway and the Obama cronies. Rush speaks the truth and they don't like it and neither do those that support the president. NFL included!

LOL. Hate to break it to you but the "Man from Hope!" did just fine at that himself with his stomach turning pandering, embarrassingly obvious manipulations, and generally treating voters like me like we had perception and intelligence of a fencepost. Didn't need any assistance from Maha Rushie.

Two of my favorite greatest Huckster hits: his commercial lighting the shelf to make it look like an obvious crucifix and his "what who me what where?" act at the press conference (something Mr. Limbaugh unfortunately defended him on by the way) as if we were all paranoid. I mean you want to show a crucifix in your ad, fine do it, but don't act like we're paranoiacs for noticing.

And of course who could forget the time he gathered the press together to announce he'd never air an attack ad against Romney ever again, shut off lights and... showed them his new Romney attack ad.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that liberals are pretty much retarded liars.

Better.
More succinct.

The liberal mind is a mystery wrapped in a conundrum.
I really don't understand their thought processes.
They seem to have a very different form of logic and reasoning.
They also seem to have little, if any, regard for truth these days.
I find it frustrating and sad.
Without truth, logic and honesty, there is no way to have reasonable debate.

We will never ever have a color blind society, not because of conservatives, or good old boys down south, but because those on the left absolutely WILL NOT allow honest debate and talk about racism from anyone on the right who is white.

Ain't that the truth?

That's why I scoffed when listening to Obama's March 2008 speech calling for a "national dialogue on race." Geez, even blacks, like Thomas Sowell, who try to have an honest discussion about race are vilified as Uncle Toms and House You Know Whats. What chance does a cracker ass honkie have in such a discussion? Why bother? This is one thing about our society that will never change.
