A number of years ago in Church an old soldier became disoriented and started staggering around due to some new “meds” the V.A. prescribed him.

Before I could get to him to steady him and sit him down a young lady was at his side helping him out. I thought at the time that she was really a great looking girl. Later I saw her with others of her age. She looked about the same as they did. Then I realized that my image of her was formed because of her friendly, outgoing personality and decency.

Ditto for Michelle Malkin–it isn’t the hair style that makes her stand out–it is her personality, good judgement, and honesty. Beauty is skin deep–quality is through and through the person.

Gretchen Carlson on Fox and Friends made a good point this morning about Reid’s plan, while interviewing Claire McCaskill. McCAskill was going on and on about how support for Reid’s plan was not stronger because Congress had not done a good job explaining all the “goodies” in the plan to the public, and once the public understood how they would benefit, the support would grow. Gretchen snarked, well, maybe Reid will let us read the plan sometime soon so we will all understand what’s in it, since so far, he hasn’t let anyone know the details of the plan.
