Western leaders shocked, shocked as Iran plays games on enrichment

Iranian mullahs not serious about ending nuclear proliferation? The deuce you say! Western leaders find themselves shocked, shocked that the Iranians now want an agreement already reached in principle reworked, in a move that would only surprise those who have been in a coma for the last ten years:
Iran will seek “important changes” in a U.N.-drafted plan to ship enriched uranium out of the country for processing, state TV reported on Tuesday, raising alarm bells among Western leaders who are pushing the deal in hopes of easing concerns over Iran’s nuclear program.
The TV report said Iran would agree to the “general framework” of the plan but also request unspecified changes. That suggests Tehran will accept the idea of sending the uranium abroad — something it had previously appeared reluctant to do — but that there could be a tussle with the U.S. and Europe over how it will be sent and how much.
France’s foreign minister expressed exasperation with Tehran, saying it is trying to have the proposal “thoroughly reworked.” Bernard Kouchner said he doesn’t think the plan needs dramatic changes and warned Iran, “It cannot take forever. We wait for answers.”
The plan was formalized by the United Nations last week after talks between Iran and the United States, Russia and France. It calls for Iran to ship 70 percent of its enriched uranium abroad for further enrichment. The U.S. and its allies back the deal because it would at least temporarily leave Iran’s uranium stockpiles too low to build a nuclear weapon. Iran denies any intention to develop a bomb.
Somewhere in Tehran, a conclave of mullahs are having a good laugh on the West. “Let’s see how many of them wave their little scraps of paper in the air,” one of them will say, while another suggests, “Perhaps we should have supplied them with umbrellas, too!”
This dodge has a long and utterly predictable dynamic in negotiations between totalitarian states and democracies hoping above all else to avoid confronting them. Make an agreement, then demand fundamental changes after the leaders have already declared it a victory for peace and understanding. That forces the leaders of democracies into further concessions to protect their standing at home and to keep the obvious failure of their approach from being seen all at once.
Unfortunately, most of us have seen how this story ends. While the Western states all chase their own tails to get Iran to agree to anything, Tehran will build its bombs and strike out at its enemies, starting with Israel, secure in the knowledge that their nuclear capability will keep them safe from any other attack. Until then, we’ll give these Western leaders a Captain Louis Renault Award, with a special Neville Chamberlain umbrella cluster:

The current proposal is a total victory for Iran. Their “refinements” will just be icing on the cake. Happy birthday Iran for your thirtieth year of progress.
They need down time on their centrifuge lines to reconfigure for the last levels of refinement for weapon grade uranium and to work out bugs in the new configuration. While they have this down time. Russia or whoever will be providing feed stock of medium grade uranium for the revised lines.

Obama told Iran they get the nuke if they let him withdraw from Iraq quietly (the letter). Now our boys are being setup in Afganistan to make sure(look at those supply lines).

First, let’s look at the person who owns the site. Mohammad Hanif Jazayeri is the Sole Director of the site (1), and essentially runs the site single handed (a man named Javid Akbari has been called the websites “co-director” (2), but his name appears on the web very rarely, and has never appeared in the MSM). Mohammad’s father was a member of the MEK, and Mohammad claims that his father was killed by the Iranian government because of this. Motivated by his father’s death, Mohammad is now working to get the MEK removed from the terrorist list. (3) Jazayeri is also associated with two other organizations as well, one of which is called “Gulf Intelligence Monitor.” This organization has no official presence of the web, and is mentioned only one time in the mainstream press, in an Agence France Presse article (4) where they described the organization as a “research institute.” This “institute” has two people associated with it: the Sole Director, whose name is Abraham Rad Kian, and Jazayeri, who became the Secretary (5) in 2003 (at the age of 19) when he replaced the original secretary after he resigned the same day that he was hired. In reality, this “research institute” is a phantom organization which is used to give credibility to statements made by other members of the MEK. For example, Iran Focus can write an article that says, “According to Simon Bailey of the London-based Gulf Intelligence Monitor” (6), and it sounds impressive, even though “Gulf Intelligence Monitor” does not exist in reality. Simon Bailey may likewise not exist. Jazayeri is also the Secretary for the International Committee for a Free Iran, another two person organization which lobbies governments to try and get the MEK taken off the terrorist lists. This organization also has no official web presence and has never appeared in the MSM. Jazayeri also gives 5 star reviews on Amazon for books written by MEK members, and one star reviews of books by respected authors that the FBI uses for its reports on the MEK. (7)
Further evidence that Mo Jazayeri is part of the MEK is found through a person named Laila Jazayeri. Laila is a relative of Mo Jazayeri (probably his mother) (8), and it is clear that she is also an MEK member. She is the Sole Director of another MEK-run one person company called the Association of Anglo-Iranian Women. She uses this company in the same way Mohammad uses Gulf Intelligence Monitor, as a credibility tool. Her pro-MEK remarks that appear repeatedly on MEK websites are listed as coming from the Association of Anglo-American Women, and it appears respectable (9). For example, when Maryam Rajavi (the MEK cult-leader), was arrested in France, ten MEK members set themselves on fire in protest, and two died as a result. Laila Jazayeri “director of the Association of Iranian Women in the UK,” called these people “the cream of Iranian intellectual society.” (10) Even the wensite “Regime Change Iran” lists Iran Focus as an “MEK webiste”:

Mohammad Mohaddessin is chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NCRI (see ncr-iran.org/content/view/146/152/). The NCRI is equivalent to the MEK (see fas.org/irp/world/para/mek-usca070904.pdf) and is also listed as a terrorist organization. Jazayeri gives Mohaddesin’s book 5 stars. Ervand Abrahamian is the leading expert on the MEK, and is the main source used by the FBI and Congress (see note 9). Abrahamian gives an accurate portrayal of the MEK, which is that they are an extremist, terrorist, cult. Jazayeri gives Abrahamian’s book one star.
8) Laila Jazayeri is the Sole Director of a one-person company called AIW, Ltd., which is the Association of Anglo-Iranian Women. The address given for the registration of this company by Laila Jazayeri is the same address given by Mo Jazayeri for Iran Focus. This can be checked through the ICC database in Lexis Nexis (See note 14). I will not give the number for privacy reasons, but the address is on Colet Gardens Road in London. If these two people live in the same house and have the same last name, it is safe to assume that they are related. Laila is 23 years older than Mohammad, so she may be his mother.

Your Times of London does not even mention the Beirut incident. In order to prove someone is responsible for something, you have to actually mention the incident. They do say the he was a member of Hezbollah. This is a baseless accusation, not proof.
The circumstantial evidence that is available says that this is untrue. Even if it were, so what. When a military occupies another country, there is no legal reason they cannot be attacked. If Hezbollah sets up a barracks in Boston,I will attack them myself (not suicide, though).

Look. The blog reference is not even included in my normal spiel regarding this issue. (Check the web to see my long post printed elsewhere.) I only included it here to show that even a blog that wants regime change in Iran still has the baseline intelligence to realize that Iran Focus is the MEK. This is clear from everything else in my post, which you do not have the ability to read. I guess the intelligence level at the “wacko” Regimechangeiran surpasses that at HA.
