Interesting. Newt expresses what I was saying the other day. This is truly a local election. I’d have to agree that national attention isn’t always helpful, although he actually started the problem with his endorsement.

Newt’s talking about a 2012 run at the Presidency, but if he keeps defending Scozzafava, he may become a Party of One.

Newt already is a Party of One. He got bit last year by the “Inside The Beltway” syndrome, and hasn’t been able to wake up to the fact that beltway style politics are precisely what the majority of us are rebelling against. Newt wants to go along on all the wrong issues, in order to get along, or appear to be able to reach across the isle to work with the Dems/Libs/Progs.

I don’t care if they make up nearly half of this country’s population, the Dems/Libs/Progs have nearly destroyed America and America’s greatness by their vicious, manipulating socialistic programs, and their politics of personal destruction.

It’s crucial that an evolving civilization learn from past mistakes. It is my sincerest hope that the Silent Majority has truly learned this time, and keeps the momentum and the Tea Parties and the revolution going so that we can clean up Washington, and clean out the parasites once and for all.

Newt reveals, unwittingly, how mixed up and confused he really is. He keeps saying that the people of the 23rd district have the right to choose their own candidate. And the election hasn’t even happened yet, Newt!! Can’t we see how embedded Newt is with the GOP Machine. He thinks that the Party Hierarchy are the ones who should choose the candidates and that the voter should accept what crumbs are thrown to them without question or complaint.

At the very least, he could attack the Democrat instead of attacking Hoffman and his supporters. Similarly, because I am grateful for what he did in the 90’s and I still like him, I’m trying to avoid attacking Newt on this. But that’s getting haaaaaard!

Its time for Newt to move along, his time has come and passed, or perhaps it is time for me to move along like to a Conservative party. I had respect for him because he pushed the “Contract for America”, but he has proven himself to be a party hack. He has no principles to stand on except getting someone in office with an R after their name regardless of where they stand on the issues.

When our Republican party went bad in our county, we took it over and through their butts out. We turned out 10 to 1 at the convention and took it over. It is time for the conservatives to stand up to the libs in the party! This makes me sad about Newt saying we have to take what the party gives us. BULL!

Here in TN, we know Fred Thompson well.

When Fred Thompson announced he was running for POTUS, the laughing was loud and long. It was real entertaining watching cheerleaders like KJo over at NRO learn day by day what we already knew about Fred.

Fred does a good ad. He should, he’s an actor.

A Colonel Sanders might actually work for him, but thin grey beards don’t look that good on TV.
