Why is the Administration so worried about what gets reported on FOX??? Is it because FOX only serves the truth and the Administration has great difficulty spinning the truth.

At least on the other MSM channels the information does not have to be the truth because those watching it are mind numbed anyway.

The ratings are out and Foxnews whips all the other cable news stations, CNN now at the bottom.
There is a reason for this. Fox is biased but honest about what side their opinion is coming from. They have commentary shows and name them as such, and yes they are on the right side of opinion. They do not tried to hide bias when they present it. That is why they are HONEST.

CNN IS a far left bias but it isn’t honest about it even in their news programs. They will “balance” their segments with unfair comparisons . For example, during the campaign when they discussed Obama’s 20 year crazy Pastor, they balanced that with some Reverend , McCain introduced an event once, who never was his Pastor and who said some controversial things 10 years earlier , which CNN still had to take out of context to make it seem controversial.
McCain’ actual Reverend is unoffensive and low key. How many of you know his name from watching CNN?
Same thing with the McCain “wants to be in Iraq for a hundred years”. CNN said it over and over to hold up Obama’s camp that was pushing McCain as a war monger.
Only until the damage was done to McCain did CNN clearify.
(They had too, a youtube video of the quote was already going viral and it clearly gives the real meaning –”there as long as troops are not in danger and much like our presence in Germany, Japan and others”}
This is not fair coverage. It’s a distortion to help their favored candidate but misrepresenting the facts. This isn’t honest coverage because CNN bias is not admitted but easily seen. Viewers correctly see that as a lying and manipulation that they can not trust.
Honesty not bias is the driving force behind trust.

Whay a load of crap. Kudos to Campbell Brown for at least mentioning how biased MSNBC is – of course suddenly Jarrett didn’t want to name specific offenders.

The WH likes bias when it is supporting THEIR agenda – then it’s just telling the truth. How anyone can deny that MSNBC is just as biased as Fox amazes me.

It is pretty ominous when you read between the lines. She was first saying that she only wants “reasonable” people to discuss policy issues. That puts all dissidents off the table.

Than she is talking about town hall protesters and goes into the whole “truth to power” bit.

Could it be that CNN is starting to stake out a position as an objective news network, and not just a less outrageous liberal alternative to MSNBC?

That would be just the thing to turn around their ratings slide, which finds them in 4th behind even HLN in primetime.
