The media’s been pointing to the balloon boy story as the ne plus ultra of celebrity-seeking scumbaggery, but there’s an even better example around, isn’t there?
Honestly, at this point, the most rational interpretation of his behavior is that he’s trying to get people to hate him.
“Sounds like you really resent her now,” she asks Levi during the interview, which was taped in advance.
“Well now I’ve heard all the things she’s said. You know, the Sarah Palin I knew before, it was — it was her putting on a front, it was her being fake to me and now that everything’s slowly coming out and I’m hearing more things, you know, and things she’s said and done, you know, I see the real Palin,” Levi responds, before stepping through the looking glass:…
Maggie: That’s what it sounds like…somebody whose bent on revenge and getting even, ‘now it’s my turn’.
Levi: Well that’s part of it, I guess, but at the same time, you know, if she’s going to go out there and say things to me, about me, I’m going to leak some things on her. I mean that’s just how it is.
“I’m going to leak some things on her” is only his second-most memorable quote of the day. The most memorable: “I just get naked. That’s what I do.” I remember writing about this turd a few months ago and speculating that between his treachery and his willingness to stoop to the depths of Playgirl for attention, he’d destroy his credibility as a source for Palin’s enemies before the primaries ever got going. Maybe I was wrong, though. The excerpted bit above comes from a transcript of tomorrow’s Early Show on CBS. If they’re willing to take him seriously enough to put him on the air now, why wouldn’t they be willing two years from now? Evidently he’ll do anything for a buck, so lord only knows what he’d accuse her of if the price is right. Think our crack, fact-checking, fair and balanced media will be scrutinizing his accusations any more intensely than they did, say, those racist quotes attributed to Rush Limbaugh?
Speaking of the primaries, her fans at Team Sarah are trying to organize a speaking event for her … in Iowa. Hmmm.

He is a loser and tool. No intellect, no schooling, no drive to excel on his merits, ability to add value to anything. People like this can be useful to other, smarter people, but such utility is limited in scope and time.
All that said, I truly hope he gets enough money to go to Singapore, gets drunk and drives. He gets picked up, tries to duke it out with an officer and they cane the wee out him. Because he acted like such an ass, they take very good medical care of him while in prison until he heals up. Then they cane the wee out of him again. Heal him up, put him on a bird and home he comes.
We would see a chastened person. He might even get a real job and raise a decent family, knock a woman up and love her for the rest of his life. He isn’t able to do that now, it appears.
In fact, just why did he end up with Bristol, anyway? Hoping for a nice state job, maybe, something he could never get by himself on his merits?
About 2% of inmates in Singapore cause trouble there again and go back to prison. The return rate in CA is 75%. Something to learn here…a teaching moment?

Currently, unless the ‘fathers’ were dumb enough to marry their babymothers, neither the abandoned mothers nor either family has jack squat in the way of legal recourse. And to add insult to injury, if an enraged parent visits some well-earned physical wrath on their hides they risk jail time for assault and battery!

I think his quote about how now he’s hearing Sarah Palin speaking negatively about him and that she was putting on a front before is about the least remarkable thing I’ve ever heard someone utter. She was being nice to him before and it was a front tells me that she wasn’t very thrilled about him and was pleasant to him only as a courtesy to her daughter. The second half in which he explains that she has said some unkind things about him recently is supposed to make people feel negatively about Sarah Palin? Those things must have been said privately because I didn’t hear them, but I’m certainly not surprised if she did. Levi in his absolute stupidity has more or less described the reactions of every mother in the world that would find themselves in similar circumstances.

So far nobody’s mentioned the most obvious “leak” still to come from this piece of canine fecal matter, i.e., the Mrs. Robinson gambit. At the most opportune moment for his handlers, Levi concedes that the Governor seduced him one evening in the Wasilla homestead while Todd was away and Bristol and the other children otherwise indisposed. He confesses that he could not resist her feminine wiles and proceeds to paint a truly salacious picture of Governor Palin sure to inspire a feeding frenzy in the Drive By Media.
To feed the frenzy even more, he alleges that the tryst (or trysts) occurred while he was a minor and Democrats in Alaska demand immediate criminal and ethics investigations by the relevant authorities. Governor Palin can issue as many categorical denials as she wants, but it is the classic “He said. She said” that turns solely on the credibility of the alleged participants. The Drive Bys and Democrats will believe him because it will be convenient, or at least feign ignorance, but demand the truth will out. The Frums and Parkers of the world will tut-tut the allegations as just another reason not to trust the well-being of the Western world to a woman who seems to drag scandal in her wake wherever she goes. And, ironically, the Huckabees and the Romneys will jump to her defense, if for no other reason to stay ahead of the outrage of the Right. All the while, the One and his minions stay completely out of the picture.
Does she sue and simply drag the scandal out? Does she ignore him and hope that reasonable people will see it for the ploy that it truly will be? Does Todd decide to take one for the team and beat the ever-loving crap outta the bastard? There are simply no good options.
And all the while, the feminists will be celebrating the portrayal of a true heroine for the rights of women as a slut and prostitute.

But a couple of key points you miss.
One, I don’t think Levi and Bristol dated all that long, and he’s 19 or 20 now.
Two, the legal age of consent in Alaska is 16.
My guess is Levi and Bristol weren’t dating and might not have even known each other back then. Frankly, that was 3 or 4 years ago, and knowing how Levi operates, had he know Bristol that long ago, she would have been pregnant that long ago!
So bring it, that crap ain’t gonna fly, at least not the underage deal.

For what it’s worth, Levi’s Wiki page sez he and Bristol started dating when they were freshmen in high school, so the possibility of an underage tryst with Governor Palin still exists. In other words, if he was dating Bristol when he was a freshman, Governor Palin had access to him. Of course, we all know how accurate Wikipedia is now after the Rush/Rams fiasco.
And, again, it doesn’t have to be true (and it isn’t!!!), it just has to be possible and not subject to objective evidence that it didn’t happen. That’s all the Drive Bys need on this one. Plus, what do you think Letterman et al will do with this? Can’t you see Tina Fey on SNL with Dustin Hoffman?? The whole point is to tar and feather Governor Palin with so many salacious accusations that the electorate simply throws its hands up in the air and refuses to vote for her on the premise that they don’t want this circus going on in the White House. That dynamic is already underway to some degree, and Huckabee and Romney partisans will surely keep that meme alive through the primaries.

Kids make mistakes in their youth, and Bristol made one with Levi. As they grow up their paths will dramatically part and Levi will be some long forgotten strung out nobody while Bristol leads a fantastic life.

Not too bright to keep going after his kid’s grandmother. But I guess money is more important that his kid. The left uses this kid to try to keep Palin in the “gossip” column. I don’t think many people pay any mind to Levi.
