The media’s been pointing to the balloon boy story as the ne plus ultra of celebrity-seeking scumbaggery, but there’s an even better example around, isn’t there?
Honestly, at this point, the most rational interpretation of his behavior is that he’s trying to get people to hate him.
“Sounds like you really resent her now,” she asks Levi during the interview, which was taped in advance.
“Well now I’ve heard all the things she’s said. You know, the Sarah Palin I knew before, it was — it was her putting on a front, it was her being fake to me and now that everything’s slowly coming out and I’m hearing more things, you know, and things she’s said and done, you know, I see the real Palin,” Levi responds, before stepping through the looking glass:…
Maggie: That’s what it sounds like…somebody whose bent on revenge and getting even, ‘now it’s my turn’.
Levi: Well that’s part of it, I guess, but at the same time, you know, if she’s going to go out there and say things to me, about me, I’m going to leak some things on her. I mean that’s just how it is.
“I’m going to leak some things on her” is only his second-most memorable quote of the day. The most memorable: “I just get naked. That’s what I do.” I remember writing about this turd a few months ago and speculating that between his treachery and his willingness to stoop to the depths of Playgirl for attention, he’d destroy his credibility as a source for Palin’s enemies before the primaries ever got going. Maybe I was wrong, though. The excerpted bit above comes from a transcript of tomorrow’s Early Show on CBS. If they’re willing to take him seriously enough to put him on the air now, why wouldn’t they be willing two years from now? Evidently he’ll do anything for a buck, so lord only knows what he’d accuse her of if the price is right. Think our crack, fact-checking, fair and balanced media will be scrutinizing his accusations any more intensely than they did, say, those racist quotes attributed to Rush Limbaugh?
Speaking of the primaries, her fans at Team Sarah are trying to organize a speaking event for her … in Iowa. Hmmm.

while waiting to do his “lack of testicular frontal issue” with Playgirl and was suppose to lose weight and on a restrictive diet… the rumor mill is that he was caught choking down a double quarter and come to find out cheating on his “diet” and gaining weight. This only shows how desperate the media is and how trashy. The only people who will believe it are those who want to and those who are just too blind to see–who needs them?
As loathsome as Levi is; any decent person can see those adults pulling his strings and using him are truly evil. If the kid has any decency in him, he will look back on this with much regret. Having said that, he really does need a good butt kicking.

This kid is lost and I think that the other culprits here are Maggie Rodriguez and CBS. They know that their motivation for having him on is to attack Sarah Palin. The people who hate her will eat it up and the rest of us won’t watch and know it for the tripe it is. Sarah, to my knowledge, has not said a word about Johnston or responded to his last couple of attacks. I think they refrain from doing so because of Bristol and Tripp and because Sarah knows the motive is to get her to react.

Sounds like Dicky Hollywood’s career in show business isn’t turning out the way he hoped. So as a result he is resorting to the only thing he knows that will get him some attention and another pay day, slagging off the Palin’s and trading on his past association with them especially with Sarah’s book about to hit the shelves.
The only problem is that his credibility is wearing a bit thin and the only people who are interested in what he has to say are the sort of media parasites that deal in the sleaziest type of tabloid reporting and whose intention isn’t to unravel the truth but rather to smear and slander a high profile Conservative because she is a threat to the political agenda of the of far left progressive establishment that they are ideologically beholden too.

I agree with faraway that we’ll probably see an attempt at a damaging news story days or hours before Sarah’s interview with Oprah. But then it’s been obvious for a year now that there is a concerted effort to fling feces at Sarah Palin at every opportunity, and people are losing their patience.

Sadly, there are probably enough interested people to keep Levi in business for a long time. This stuff is all scripted by and for the media. Between the Sarah haters (probably big overlap with Obamabots) and the proles, who love this family feud stuff, there’s a big audience.
I would never have said this before the 2008 election, but our country seems to be dominated by mindless proles swallowing what the media feeds them.

Johnson also took the occasion to level his fiercest charge yet at the former Alaska Governor and 2008 GOP VP nominee. Johnson accused Palin of forcing him to have sex in the woods with several gerbils and a moose. Palin, Johnson said clapped repeatedly and even pinned a ribbon on him after one heated exchange with several creatures. Johnson also said Todd Palin and the couples entire family had various other group encounters and he believes they may in fact be aliens from the planet Zornon.
