Bad analogy for starters. First, even if we concede that Iraq was a mistake (which it wasn’t) it’s a policy that could be reversed rather quickly if necessary. Obamacare, from a purely policy point of view, most likely will NEVER be reversed if enacted. So, Iraq/Obamacare are apples/oranges my friend.

As for NHC, I still say that Reid/Pelosi/Obama seek ideological purity for this monster and as such, if/when it fails, they blame the opposition. If NJ/VA (and esp. NY-23) go for the GOP/Conservative ticket, all bets are of for NHC. Don’t underestimate the Dems ability to preserve their own arses.

They run conservative democrats in Red States–by all means choose whatever religious anti-abortion dude you want in Alabama but the same kind of candidate cannot win in Blue states. or even in purple states. He has to be socially liberal.

According to polls, people may not like the specifics of the Obama healthcare plan but they do like the idea of a public option.

So what’s the benefit?

The benefit is that mouth-breathers like Pawlenty get to have it both ways with a lower chance of the rubes catching on.

Then the idjit laments the loss of “moderate Repbublicans” that he used to be able to work with once upon a time. Maybe it’s time for conservatives to frame issues that it is too bad that moderate Democrats fail to legislate on behalf of the greater good of the country, rather than on partisan lines.

No matter that they are together forcing the best health care system in the history of the world into the dust to do it.

The health care system is not perfect but the system that allows weak humans like Reid and Pelosi to have such power is completely broken.

On then list of items Americans want fixed, HC ranks in the 5% range.
We are truly lost when these dopes can run this down our throats without review or concern over the national debate.

Perhaps the Supreme Court can salvage the health care system.

CARSON CITY — Nearly half of Nevadans have had enough of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as the powerful Democrat heads into his re-election campaign, a new Las Vegas Review-Journal poll finds.

About a third of the state’s voters would re-elect Reid if the 2010 election were held today, according to the poll, but 45 percent say they would definitely vote to replace him.
