They are both “General Betrayus” types.

Obama says important decisions can’t be rushed. Has he ever driven a car? Try spending an hour on the decision to hit the breaks. Delay makes simple decisions hard, and needlessly endangers us.

The President criticizes a lot of people. Doctors, bank presidents, auto execs, President Bush. All of them share a trait. They’ve made hard decisions. Obama has no right to criticize, he can’t even reach the level of being accountable for failure. He can’t even act.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen.

Veterans Day is just a couple weeks off. I would challenge all the HA readers do something to show appreciation of those currently serving. Their Commander-in-Chief has abandoned them. Let’s show that he doesn’t reflect the views of the American people.

I would suggest he start with Sun Tzu, The Art of War. An oldie but then, so are the enemies tactics.

Our commitment, including Obama’s commitment, was already made after 9/11/01. So he wants to change his tune; he has no right to leave our military hanging. If Obama wants to “rush slowly” he still must begin with his best and strongest shot, to follow the advice from McChrystal that he requested. THEN, see about moving from here to there and home again.

Obama’s cowardly mannerism and tactic to rely too heavily upon the drone predator that takes out civilian bystander casualties along with the al Qaeda target is one of the worst problems our military on the ground has to deal with in Afghanistan.

McChrystal made it clear; Afghans don’t care why you killed their kinsman, women and children, only that you did kill them. And they’ll never forgive or forget any deaths, no matter how necessary and particularly when so needless.

Our drones are the high tech version of IEDs that kill and maim whoever happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. So far as civilization is concerned, whether Britain WWII or Afghanistan 2009, it is an evil and cowardly opponent that relies too much upon indiscriminate bombing, whether the Nazi rocket bombs landing across England or US predators attacking mountain tribes. It isn’t as though we never have a need and right to use the unmanned bombers; but to only do so is a sign of amorality and sub-humanity in a warriors’ culture. And Afghanistan IS a warriors’ tribal culture.

I noticed an ex-Marine who pulled out from the service when Iraq looked too hairy to stick with early on, is now a big wig military adviser/consultant who just sent in his letter of resignation, to campaign against any US involvement in Afghanistan. How convenient, just in time to give Obama an alternative darling to combat McChrystal and Petraeus in the media. Just what Obama wanted; a new version of Jack Murtha. Well, the blood is on Obama’s hands now. And for the first time in Michelle’s adult life, she’s proud of her damned spot. “Out! Out!”

I dunno how the troops would react…it’d be like, you know, a bar scene with pissed off biker dudes.
