Notice conservatives who are successful mythologize themselves, they would rather be vain and patronizing than gracious. They admire themselves. They also fail to admit that governmental institutions, or just flat-out luck played a role in their success.

In contrast successful liberals don’t attribute their success solely to their own unassailable personal genius. They’re successful, yet humble.

Who would you rather emulate?

You are right. A government that provides for the most freedom…. stays out of the way…. doesn’t interfere…. is small so corruption can be caught early….

Yes that kind of government has helped millions upon millions of Americans succeed for generations!

No one is for no government.

We want small sensible government. Low taxes, good infrastructure, good laws and courts, even some safety nets, and helps for the truly down trodden (help, not dependence)

That is not Barack Obama’s dream. He wants total and absolute control of everything so that nobody has an independent thought ever again.

No freedom to fail, thus no freedom to suceed.

Two points from the video that should be made nonstop:

Socialism=lack of freedom and opportunity.

Don’t reproduce until you are twenty…. now that is an astounding low age even among Mormons who marry quite young.

I would change that to don’t reproduce without the ring….
That probably sounds like it’s from outer space to some.

To be fair, I think it is more accurate to have it the other way around.

Larry Elder, an ex Los Angeles radio talk show host has called the “helpless” blacks, victocrats for years. I believe he is planning to run for the senate against Barbera Boxer.

One thing he hasn’t called people is “helpless.” Also, “victicrat” is not a race-specific term. Larry Elder uses it to describe many of those who perpetuate victim status.

If P.J. Media pulled it that was a mistake.

Great video that needed to be seen.

Glad to see his “victicrat” label is catching on with someone.

Giggle; snort. Good one! It is nice to see such a wry sense of humor in a leftist.

Usually you guys can’t crack a joke like that, since you are only happy when everyone else is as miserable and self loathing as you are….. and there are still a few of us remaining who know we have achieved something to be self-congratulatory about, rather than wasting our lives away hoping for a handout from our rulers.

One ideology is proud, but humble. The other is self-congratulatory and pompous.

Binary thinking, boy. God, you can count to two! The world can be divided into two classes; (1) the proud but humble and (2) the self-congratulatory and pompous.

Wow, no pomposity in your self-congratulation that you can classify all conservatives and all liberals! I know lots of liberals who congratulate themselves for their wisdom, pompously, and I know lots of liberals who are truely humble. I know lots of conservatives who are jack-asses, and lots of conservatives who are fountains of common-sense.

So what. It is the ideas and the discussion of the ideas that count, not whether they are “liberal” or “conservative.”

I like Zo because he talks about things like how one can diminish oneself by thinking of oneself as a victim of the other guy while ignoring one’s own actions, and how the confederate Democrats like to pat you on the head and give you a bowl of soup after you have picked their cotton for them voted for them. I enjoy being mean to Democrats, but I do pat them on the head once in a while when they are actually caught thinking, (or being humble).
